is there any difference between WR in India, Indonesia and Pakistan in all aspects, a humble question I dont know the answer believe me.
Indian Wagon R is locally made, even the engine K10b is made by Indian locally. Body, suspension, engine and most of the interior is same, some minor difference and upgrade like Cng/Lng version, presence of ABS in one version, back wiper etc.

In Pakistan when Wagon R is launched they imported CKD from Indonesia, but now around 30-40% Wagon R parts are localized. Indonesian Wagon R is same as of Pak except paint job as far as i know.

India is a very large auto hub. they are one of the largest auto market in the world, they have some of the largest car manufacturing facilities. Indian locally made engine doesn't mean a sub standard engines. in fact some known good brands preferred to manufacture in India and in China.

best of luck with your WR, enjoy your ride. had good discussions here in this thread.

After few days i went past the showroom and it was closed.....FAW signs were not there and no cars inside.(dont know if its opened again or not). This made me lose confidence in the company and i thought i would buy Wagon R or market JDM in future.
FAW is not a new company in Pakistan, they are here in Pakistan from long long ago. wiki it please. they are stable here, there dealerships are already in operating condition before even launching the V2. so dont worry bro about their exit from Pakistan. no doubt there is no chance of suzuki to escape from Pakistan. so you can go for Suzuki with eyes closed.

Bro ghussa q horahe ho, where did i say ke india is producing sub standard cars ? I know well about Indian auto industry, how they are run and now most of the maruti lineup is localized, they still rely on Japan for some of the technology but they belief in transferring the technology from there, Yahan Japan suzuki ke 100% stakes hain, And believe it or not Mehran or cultus sirif Japan ki waja se hai, they force Pak suzuki to sell obsolete items here.

Sarkar bhai they r not forcing us...our public is in gr8 love of cultus n mehran coz of cheap parts....these r light on pocket plus old technology so a road side ustad cn figure these out easily evry whre....if our people dont buy cultus they will think of celerio etc soon but seems highly unlikely cz of cultus sales figures

FAW from LHR to ISD .......only but hell of difference , the car is not bad but interior quality is too low and drive and leg space isnt as comfortable as WR or other janapnees cars have . The fuel average is around 12 with AC and there is no future of it . Trust me . I posted in June 14 while purchasing WR that it would take time but would be success full car .

    Reasons .
    Fuel average . Outstanding
    Comfort . Much better
Engine . Outclass , read K series engine details
looks . People would take time to get used to it , but u can improve while upgrading tyres
International market . Already successful model in lot of countries like India , Indonesia etc.
Drive . Very smooth , Have tested it up to 180 , no wobbling . See my display pic , I was crossing a vitz at M2 . :-)
Problems . Rear windows manual , no accessories offered by PS , chrome quality of steering and gear is too bad .

Thanks and never mind but Faw 2 is wastage is money . Nothing else . Wait and c .
I have also driven both and have different opinion, the comparison of both cars is valid only because both are in similar price bracket, v2 is a better car overall. interior quality isn't as bad, the color of plastic makes it look bad, the material used is of good quality and it is better than many old model 660cc cars, though not as good as wagon r or swift. the leg space is good, the posture of wagon r(though i like wagon r), santro and other 660cc cars is too upright for my taste.(closer to three wheelers than cars). fuel average is a compromise but still better than vitz and passo 1.0(the way i drive i can do better if the car isn't underpowered vs how cvt lovers drive to get fuel economy by staying in left lane and waiting for speed to rise eventually). comfort was similar to vitz, the seats provide better support for laid back driving style. engine & tranny are butter smooth(wagon r needs clutch cable adjustment right outta showroom) and provide powerful drive. it is successful in china(hence you can import a lot of goodies for it) and Africa. stable with stock tyres with no difference if driving in wind. the accessories and features provided aren't present even in gli, city.

I know its better than many cars in Pakistan sold under the name of Japani cars most of the parts of these Japanese cars simply made in Lalu Khait and labeled as Japan. Though I know the facts abt V2 its drive pleasure, quality and comfort but don't want to dive into war of discussions. So simply I'd say buy a car better suit you.

    ok then have some calculations

Good new tires will be around 16k (165 profile), so 16-9 = 7k

    Alloys are also ariund 16k, so 16-6 = 10

    Total cost = 17k approx...

Is 165 profile ok for the wider alloys commonly found in the market or i have to search for alloys with less width such as 5.5 inch...
