Alhumdulillaah, I am loving the ride of my Wagon R VXL. I wanted to share the prices of several Wagon R variants in India. To my astonishment, the price that Pak Suzuki is charging here, say for, Wagon R VXL (PKR 1,094,000) even without ABS, SRS Airbags, Rear power windows, Rear viper, and all additional accessories etc are exorbitantly higher as compared to the highest version of Wagon R being sold in India. As on 09th August, 2014, the following conversion rate was applicable, 1 INR = 1.6145 PKR. The most expensive version in this cadre is Wagon R MC VXi ABS, which costs around INR 450,320. This is equivalent to 1.6145 x 450,320 = PKR 727,042, with ABS, SRS Airbags, Rear power windows, Rear viper, and all additional accessories etc. The features of Indian Wagon R can be checked on this link:

    http://www.marutisuzuki.com/wagonr.aspx

If we add the taxes/fee after post delivery, the difference would stretch even more. One reason why Indian Wagon R with more features is cheaper than Pak Wagon R with less features is the fact that Indian Wagon R is locally manufactured, where as Pak Wagon R is imported from Indonesia, thus adding the import taxes and duties.

I would like to seek the opinion of learned / respected members here, about the huge difference in Wagon R prices between both countries. Thanks in advance.

On color, although I drive a blue wagon R, yet I seem to love every other color beside the one I have :p. I especially like beige, white, black, red and silver :p

there are at least three wagon r's in my area(i don't own one, but thinking of buying) and their headlights are the most reasonable i've seen in Pakistan even in high beam, I experienced em in 10th gen cow, 8th gen cow and khyber(with dirty and old windshield) and glare was less then even jdm's........

@handsome_theif: I got the rear screen of my wagon R tinted from outside, due to nature of its curve, paper has to be cut, not into separate pieces, but only a couple of slits on the either sides horizontally along the middle for proper fitting. However, once the paper is properly applied the cuts are not visible. It may be normal procedure for rear tinting of screen as they curve inwardly around the edges.

Ok jokes done so wagon r owners I went to 3s today met with manager like always and he was a bit disappointed because of taxes
WagonR is already by many ppl a bit over priced including me just a bit tad 90k over priced for me but new taxes and stuff keeps buyers to think twice
He said shape is not what we see nornal 11 lac ki gari to that's a diss also I asked about cultus he said bhai pagal nahi hai suzuki walay 2cars are in demand mehran and cultus
Wagon r will take time to be common sight on road
And ganja taxes made it worst
He said main thing is price and shaper ppl turn awY from it
Altogh I am not a fan its a good car and buy it now who wants it

As suzuki satart mein acji gari deti hai then junk
Also im not surr about other citires anf it might be rude comparing car with van but faw xpv is out selling bolan and wagon r in peshawar
I see new faw evey day wagon r is still a rare sight for me
