Afridi bhai, sadly, the only way to claim refund of advance tax given at the time of purchase of new car/paying token tax, is by using influence in FBR. If you have acquaintances working at top management in FBR, only then can you fancy getting the advance tax back, and that too, after paying hefty sums in bribe. The only other way to seek benefit of this advance tax is by reducing your final income tax liability by the amount of advance tax given at the time of purchase/payment of token. Be reminded that the benefit of adjusting advance tax against final income tax liability is only available for the financial year in which advance tax is paid, and unadjusted amount of advance tax, if any, can not be carried forward for adjustment in next financial year(s).

My dear it is best option in this range.ys u r right that jdm hv more options than pkdm bt main thing is that r nt new and zero meter.no satisfaction of mind in a used car.those r lucky ppls who find clean jdm. We hear a lot of abt accidental and repaired jdm. Normally in this range u will find 660 cc jdm and wagn r is 1000cc with a good responsive engine with good acceleration. There is no comparison of 660cc engine and k series engine of wagn r. I hv driven my waggy more than 20000 km and no ussue faced Alhamdulillah. Went to hilly areas in august and enjoyed its ride.much better than cultus.avg is very good also.

Suzuki immobilizer is pretty basic (same as it use to come in baleno) can be bypassed easily but still "something is better than nothing"

My father actually bought it for our driver, but I managed to swap it with my Corolla 96. The drive is amazing. Car feels like new after every oil change. The engine is silent as ever. I don't hear the engine even at 4 and 5 RPMs. The viewing angle is great. Doors open at a 90 degrees angle, and it actually helps in getting in and out of the car easily. Fuel economy is excellent. Steering is very responsive, and precise. I've taken it to 140, and i never felt the slightest wobbling. It does wobble in windy conditions, but tbh, every car wobbles a little in the wind.

The only drawback is the seats. They get uncomfortable after an hours drive. Also, the car lacks all those fancy JDM perks. To be honest, the only thing I'd want in a PKDM Wagon R are the airbags and retractable side mirrors. Nothing else. I can live without the fancy ecoidle technology and cruise control and heated seats and push start buttons etc.

Overall, the car is excellent in almost all aspects. Its small, and easy to maneuver in dense traffic. Fits into the tightest of parking spaces. Gives excellent fuel economy. Is actually very fun to drive. People are against this car just because of the ridiculous shape. But in all fairness, the car isn't that bad looking. I've seen JDM cars 100 times more ridiculous in looks on roads. Wesay bhi, is gaari ka maqsad banday ko sastay mai aik jaga sey dusri jaga transport krna hai. Kisi automobile beauty contest mai participate krna nahi.

And people who still say Cultus is better than a Wagon R, i think it's high time you guys climbed out of from under that rock.

No problem bro. I already knew you wanted to write 1.045 million, but wrote 1.45 million by mistake. Bhai, a brand new Wagon R should go trouble free for 200K KMs, provided the user complies with the routine maintenance schedule as contemplated in owner manual and doesn't abuse the car. The Wagon R with same K10B engine was launched more than a decade ago in India, and has proved to be one of the top 5 most selling cars in India, amidst availability of multiple 1000 cc car options there.

Dont want to offend any owner of vitz and passo but just sharing for the sake of comparison. Yesterday i saw a video on youtube. In that video new shape vitz 2011+ is going from 140-160km/hr and it is taking ages for vitz to reach that speed, fuel avg showing on meter was just 12km/l and people are buying this car in 1.3-1.5 million considering that it is already used. I know the quality and options are way better but they are all coming at a very high price and driving pleasure must be very low considering heavier body and auto transmission. For any car one should always think of VALUE FOR MONEY factor. Go for the car which gives you best value for money according to your criteria and needs.

Actually 1000cc cars are meant to be driven on 70-120... Not for 140 or 160... Slow transit at heavy speeds is not an issue... Any higher engine can eats up 1000cc on highway... The best value for money is the driving pleasure and safety to me... Yes u r right, one should decide according to his needs... Adding on that, one should drive both the cars, and sit in them for a while before purchase, and then decide further...
    Keep Faith in Allah...

I agree there are many things that are superior in vitz n passo obviously in very high cost but just want to share this information for the sake of comparison. To mention again at 140 km/hr vitz was retunring only 12km/lr mileage which is below par.https://youtu.be/e2O3qra8C8I

Moreover, it is also considered as driving pleasure when you push the pedal and car gives you immediate response with all that in very economical way, how good is that ?

Moreover, it is also considered as driving pleasure when you push the pedal and car gives you immediate response with all that in very economical way, how good is that ?
I am dead sure that at 140 km/hr, WR average will be almost equal or even lower than this... Eve Vezel Hybrid with 1500cc gpes to 10-11 at140 and 8-9 at 160 km/hr...

Cars give economy at optimum RPM, WR has best economy at 100 km/hr when it RPM is just above 3000 in 5th gear, after that it will consume more fuel...

And I was bit disappointed to see 5th gear and 100 speed at 3100 RPM, the speed should be 115 or 110 at least at this stage...
    Keep Faith in Allah...

Even at 4k rpm it returns good average. Its a small engine anyways so it has to rev high to achieve high speed. Specs wise WR is very good in horsepower to weight ratio, WR kerb weight is 835kgs, hp is 67. 835/67=12.46kgs for 1 hp. Vitz weight is 1040kgs. Hp is same as of k10p i.e. 67. 1040/67=15.52kgs for 1 hp. In short WR gives same power with all passenger and luggage as of vitz with only one light weight driver.
