I regularly touch 140 on Kashmir Highway everyday on stock tires. Why is it unsafe according to you?

This is a matter of shame to overspeed to such an extent and then tell on public forum with proud...its not about your own loss rather why u r playing wid lives of rest of the innocent ppl commuting on the same road.

Its unsafe because your car is not designed for high speed and is built for economy

I think a while back I was also searching for the same and I cam across this Maruti Wagon R thread on TBHP: DIY: Installing a Bluetooth Kit in my WagonR - Team-BHP

Since then, I have shelved the idea. You can take a look if you are interested.

Brother, don't presume to such an extent. I am a careful driver. Anybody with experience of driving on Kashmir Highway knows that 100-140 is the right lane norm on this road.

I totally agree. I just want to know why stock tires are a bane when you speed it up a little. Its because of their width or something?

May i know who set this norm when it is ILLEGAL....80km/h is the max speed limit....i m driving on that road since 1995 and have witnessed a num of accidents right in front of me. Buray tym.ka.koi pata nai hota and u cant precisely stop your car at this high speed even u r driving Beamer...any car needs a particular tym to stop.

It is Pakistan, drivers set their own norms here. If we had speed traps/cameras and patrolling on highways, only then can max speed limits be enforced. I agree with your assessment of stopping distance and safety but please don't think for an instance that Pakistan is the perfect place when it comes to traffic rules. You drive right lane on KH, you drive in excess of 100 kph at least. That's that.

And that's not to justify myself as a speed demon. I only drive fast when the coast is clear. My normal commuting times on KH are fairly away from rush hour.

Exactly...infact our roads are not like forign developed countries...sometimes some biker or padestarion came in front of you out of nowhere...and at times u feel that its too late...or sometimes any biker or car from other lane abrubtly comes in front of you.

I slightly disagree on this point. I was educated in Florida until high school, so I have driven both stick and auto on American roads. And I guarantee you, Pakistani roads are way safer than those I found there. There, drivers consistently drive under the influence, particularly at night, and they have a very ridiculous sense of road etiquette. In Pakistan, I have seen only three or four accidents happen in front of me. Back in the states I saw this many in a week.

    AA Mates,
I find the OEM horn well under rated. My question is that can I install the PAAN PAAN horn with out any added relay?
