Dear Bro
It is a noise from steering rack (steering kangi) it has some looseness (garr garr sound on uneven / slightly damaged roads on slow speed and not found with large pot holes and at good speed), usually come from left side wheel, a typical Suzuki issue in almost 80% cars, I bought new Mehran, afterwards Alto and now WR all have this issue, earlier ones I got it rectified from my mechanic, but with WR I am living with it, as I don't have the time to get it rectified.
A couple of months back I have taken my WR to 3S for this issue, they inspected, initially they did not admitted that there is any sound, they have a pet sentence "aap ka Wehem hai", but as I know this sound very well from my last two cars I insisted and then after 3 ~ 4 test drives on different damaged / brick roads, they come to a conclusion that there is a sound and this is coming from steering rack and advised me to come with some free time, as it will take a couple of hours to get it rectified which I will do so after Ramazan.
This can be easily rectified by tightened the steering rack adjusting bush placed from where the steering column comes out of cabin, but normally PS 3S mechanic says to get rid and to avoid of such complaints, " Sir if we will tight the rack your steering will get tighter as well" but this is bulls ****, tight as much as required not over tight, it is loose that's why it gives sound, otherwise if it is ok then there would be no complaint and the purpose of this adjusting bush is to make adjustment if required.
So better go to 3S and push them to remove the sound by any means (try with one of your cars and see the results), but they will try their best to avoid it, this has nothing to do with the change of tyres, if you have original tyres even then you will have it.
Don't let them open the steering rack, as usually they claim against such issues that it might be greecing issue / less lubrication, so will open the Steering rack and just greece it, no use of that, it is just loosening from adjusting bush.
Do share your experience with 3S on this issue.
