Yes im sure it would have been there from the day first. Im also thinking one more thing i.e to get the genuine rims back and then get the warranty calimed (just in case if they dont claim the warranty).

because basically the warranty got voided the moment you altered your car. i am pretty sure this boat issued was there even before you got your alloys because 1400 is nothing. but now the suzuki guys have something to argue on which they love.

Whenever you go for routine inspection, do not rely on the 3s guys. My car had gear oil seepage, I noticed it myself, but It was with some effort that i convinced them that the issue is real. I asked them to repair the fault, they insisted that if it silicon issue, you need to pay for silicon charges, if some other issue it will not be covered under warranty. After some arguments they opened and applied silicon but charged nothing. At next inspection i shall examine whether oil leakage still exists or gone.

I knew that they will only check the nut bolts and some routine checkups. Once they raised the car on the lift for tightening of the bolts, me an extremely cary person about my cars, so i went down the car to check all the other things and holla found that the left suspension had some grease. Upon touching i found that the axle boat was leaked. I asked the mechanic to check it and he said that the deposit is of grease and not gear oil. Whatever it is it should not have been leaked...i replied. He went inside bought another person, he inspected and found that the boat is leaked a bit..wtf....brand new car just 1400km driven has a broken boat??? I asked him to repair in the warranty.. Sir rubber parts are not covered in warranty he replied. I then myself marched towards the service parts shop and explained the matter. He said as this is not the regular complaint so we donot have the boat in warranty. You can bring the car on Monday and then we can replace it. I then rushed towards the Jail Road branch from which i got the car and explained all the matter. He said it will be cover in warranty. I told him that i have now alloys in the car and thats too of 14inch..Oho sir ye kia kar diya..aab to aap ki warranty claim nahi ho gi..he replied. I asked him firstly open the tyre size calculator and compare both the tyres. They dont have any difference in diameter. Secondly lets agree to your point that getting bigger rims will effect suspension ok, but how can it be effected on 1400km driven brand new car?? Why not the right axle, why not the rest of suspension parts?? Speechless he was.
Anyhow ill be taking the car to Olympia Motors tomorrow and will see what happens. Im concerned is what about the condition of the axle. Will it be making noise. Should i be replacing the axle as an whole?? Pictures attached. Check and guide.

from the pictures it looks like the boot is ok . if say it is cracked then u must get it changed immediately warranty or no warranty or u will have to change the cv joint because it will get damaged due lack of grease lubrication.

If they claim this in warranty then its well n good but IMO they won't.
Boot can be torn by multiple reasons. Some of them are some stone hitting the boot, kite flying threads or many other.
I accidentally had fire under my unregistered corolla a year ago and went to toyota for checkup and only boot was brunt. They said sir whatever happens with the boot it isn't included in warranty. So the point is they won't claim it in warranty.
But your debate is genuine regarding new car and if they don't do it in warranty then write a detailed mail to suzuki discussing the issue and after that they will claim this for sure.
And when you will get the boot changed do remember to pour in axle grease only and get the boot which comes OEM. Boots available in market are of crap quality. And yes please get it changed asap.

Btw which tyre size are you using and can you share any pics?

Thanks for the detailed reply. Im willing to get the boat from my own pocket aswell by the thing is they should have it in stock and thats too OEM one.
Im using 165/65/r14 which is the best replacement of OEM. Unluckily we do not get good rim and tyres options in 14inches. Had to dig out the set. will post the photo in a while

if cv joints are gone u will start hearing tuuk tuuk while turning . if u cant hear it then its ok for now .it all depends how much grease is left in it . i would say dont drive it till u get it replaced . i had my boot leaked on eagle eyed civic and had to get cv joint changed . i had spotted the boot earlier but due to lack of knowledge and time could not take immediate action and had to get a cv joint instead of just the boot
