I got your message in email but I could not find it in my pakwheel forum inbox to reply to it.
I was also looking to buy mira ES, but going through forums here and a guy who imports and sells JDM cars here and has driven and used both for personal use. said that WagonR was better than mira in features and interior. That made me look into it. and I went to market and had a look and feel of jdm wagon R , mira ES i have already checked a lot.
Exterior wise i like both but that is subjective. Interior wise I liked it much better than mira. And feature wise it had more to offer in same price range compared to mira. e.g. Auto AC , separate adjustable back seats , much more room and height inside, a lot of room at back , extra battery (it has 2 batteries, 1 liquid battery in engine bay and 1 dry cell battery under the front passenger seat) , etc .
I am comparing the "X" trim of both , because G trim both have all features but that is out of budget and imho the price is an over expenditure for such a car . If I have that much money to buy a G trim, I would go for medium trim Passo/Boon (1000cc) etc .
Please keep in mind that all above comparison is based on X trim 2012 models of both ,
Now in 206 you can at minimum get 2013 model and i dont know of their comparisons.
The fuel consumption etc of both are same. Oil filter, air filter originals are available in market. Like all JDMs the parts are obviously expensive compared to PKDM , but you wont need mechanical parts. these JDMs (if bought low odo meter) require virtually no parts replacement uptill 50k-60k (if driven like a banday ka puttar )
I would advise you to go to any car market and take first hand look at WagonR JDM and Mira ES. it will make you decide.
I would say its depends on personal preference and taste of a person. Both Daihatsu MiraES and Suzuki WagonR are almost same in performance, fuel economy, AC performance etc.
At the end if you lean towards Wagon R , do look into if you can have the budget and get a WagonR Stingray, it has many many more features and turbo engine (660cc) . the fuel eco is only 1-2 km/ltr lower than normal wagonr. and its worth it.
Go throught this form from start and you will get a lot of info about WagonR JDM.
Good luck
P.S: dont ever buy a JDM without verifiable auction sheet. "EVER"
