    Default Hi-Octain in Wagon R

I want to ask is it okay to use Hi Octain fuel in wagon r after intervals to get the fuel lines cleaned as there's a myth that hi octain is good to get the enjectors & fuel lines cleaned.
Kindly advise some expert on its usage in new wagon r or slightly used as 8k to 9k kma driven.

As far as I know, there is no harm in using Hi Octane once in a while. It should give slightly better mileage and no knocking in the engine. Try it.

No need for Hi-Octane for k10b, it does not have high compression ratio, i used regular petrol and felt knocking only once and it was due to weather changes, my WR has 20k kms on odo

I think K10b's compression ratio is 10:1 which is not that low. However if engine is not knocking on regular petrol then there is no point of adding Hi-Octane as it will result in clogging EGR valve with carbon unless not mixed in appropriate proportion with super.

True. I was referring that I am not sure if K10B in Wangon R has an ECM\ECU manufactured by Denso or Bosch.

Using high octane of Rs 400 with Rs 600 of super gives pick increase and better mileage. WagonR vxl 2016 15 k driven.
