Default Wagon R: JDM or PKDM?

Planning to buy a new car. i have two options mentioned in the title. Wagon R JDM vs PKDM keeping it simple. things i can't compromise are:

    1. Price (10-11 lac)
    2. Comfort (specially ac, seating, and drive)
    3. need to keep it for at least 5 years and don't (or very rarely) wanna see the mechanics
    4. Affordable maintenance (parts, service etc)
    5. Fuel avg (15kpl is just fine for me but not less than that)
    6. Value for money

    USAUGE:
    1. Family car (couple with an infant)
    2. will be driven within the city (almost always except those occasional long trip in months). In Rwp/Isb and mostly on smooth roads.
    3. Home-office-home (daily routine. distance covered will not be more than 8 km. i live very close to my OWN OFFICE)

    MY DRIVING STYLE:
    1. Very careful and light foot
    2. never done even 120 on my current 1500cc (except for those couple of highway trip when i crossed 140 lol)
    3. Treat my car like a family member. always change fluids and filters on time. pay attention to noises etc.

Please suggest which would suite my needs and also please mention the reasons of your suggestion for my awareness? Your suggestions are much appreciated.

P.S: I have done my homework and not considering any other ride so please don't suggest. it will only make me more confused.

for 5 years i ll suggest stay away from jdm as they are sorta disposible i wont expect it to last 5 years reliabily
comfort wise jdm will be better
over all ill recommend pkdm wagon r if u can live with manual tranny and no safety features
pkdm wagon r is a good buy in this price range specially if u want to keep it for a more than 3 years .

Currently I am driving auto car and it would be a tough transition from auto to manual but i can live with that. safety features can be compromised coz i usually drive within the city and heavy traffic (I think and I pray to Allah that no fatal accident would take place so i can live without abs airbags and VSC).

Hows the comfort level if you compare it with cultus and swift?

Bro we have two pkdm WagonR in my family one belong to my brother just baught in january this year, both are very happy.

There are some pros and cons in both what we considered before buying is easy availability of parts and brand new car without any doubts.

JDM is is more comfortable and smooth drive but not very significant difference as compared to PKDM. But parts availability is little problematic.

PKDM is 1000cc more powerful, feel like 1300cc but seats are not that comfortable but good as compared to cultus. Very fuel efficient 15km within city with soft foot. Good AC and easily available parts and i think better resale then JDM.

    For family its very spacious.
I would suggest go for PKDM. But please do little more research on pros and cons then decide.

    Best of luck
    Happy buying
    Happy driving

    PKDM Wagon R.
Its 1000cc K10B engine has a good amount of low-end torque, gives good mileage, it's far better than 660cc engines.
More powerful engine means better A/C.
The ground clearance of JDM Wagon R is very bad.

Kashif bro, WagonR is available for test drive on almost every showroom, please have a test drive and i am sure you will not feel like changing the seats, they are not that bad.

irfan bhai i went to Suzuki Rawalpindi for a test drive but it was not available at that time (i visited them after their timing so they allowed me to see the car and not to test drive). However, I would visit them again and i would pay attention to the seat too this time.

I owned wagonR vxl bought in Feb and so far 8000km on odo.
Excellent performance good pick and comfortable drive.(am driving daily 100km) chilling AC cons are ugly shape wobbling in windy conditions after 80km speed. Otherwise superb ride only missing factor is auto transmission. I am getting 325 km from 15.5 litre of regular petrol which is just amazing.
