Dont let them come close to its carburator, every mechanic of galli muhalla opens-up bike's carb and play with it in the name of "cleaning" , there is absolutely no dirt there but they do it, its their habit and its authorized service shops habit too, tell them not to open it before 10,000 kms atleast, check bike's manual for further info.

    Default junoon

    Aoa fellows,
    I am a junoon owner from 2006
my opinion is thats its the best bike available in market regarding looks and performance
get 2 engine tuneups of your bike and the fuel consumption will improve automatically when i bought second bike for my younger brother it had the same issues..
i have never visited a company workshop trust my own mechanic but the problems u are facing will not last long
and about the carburattor adjustment nothing happens by changing the adjustments until the mechanic is qualified enough..
the first bike i own from 2006 i have got the cabri serviced 2 times and now my bike has done 45 k i just get oil changed after a 1000 km and get a tune up along with it ... & get plug and air filter changed after every 10 k
fuel average in city driving conditions is 50 which is i think excellent for a 100 cc bike... and i am totally satisfied with my bike and my younger brother has the same comments...

bro i told u engine tight hai jo fuel ziyeda consume kerta hai, heatup b ziyeda hota hai jaise jaise bike chle gi engine parts nerm perte jain gain, aik dosre kk sath polish hon gain, friction kum hoti jae gi. after some time es ka carbi optimem level per set ho ga phir es ki fuel avg b achi ho gi aur pick up and speed b zberdest ho gi aur engine ziyeda heat-up b nai ho ga

and 1 thing more i want to add is that i have never been a honda rider...
the first bike i bought was a junoon.... and i am a fan off it..
the problem u are facing with your front wheel can b fixed in 10 minutes by any mechanic.. just do a smooth running of your engine... dont worry about the fuel consumption... after driving junoon try a cd 70 u will feel like u are riding a bicycle.. not a bike.. Yamaha is the best 100cc bike producer in pakistan..
Honda 100 can never match with this machine in performance..
Drive a Junoon for 10 kms ... u will not feel tiered on a long run
Drive a honda cg 125 for 10 kms u will feel bit stiff back and elbows..
Every thing is perfect in this bike regarding my experience...
after driving it for 45000 kms.. i am totally satisfied with the performance and comfort drive of this yamaha

@ aamirraza9 Maybe the Brake Leathers are too much tight, and what's the noise in the front wheel when i press the front Brake..... it's normal when it's free but it make noise when i press it.....brake is on absolute ZERO level..... but still front wheel is too much heavy and like it's jammed, perhaps bike runs heavily and consumes more petrol

tommorow ask any of your friend who owns a 125 or cd 70
    drive them..
u will love the driving experience of your yamaha 100
i will post some pics of my bikes tommorow.. so that u can believe i own 2 of them..
u have said it your self that when u change the carburattor setting the bike has lost its pickup.. according 2 my experience u have 2 adjust air mixture and fuel supply both.. but i would always recommend al least 2 tune ups and nice smooth running till 1000 kms changing oil during running is an excellent idea i recommend driving the stock company engine oil for 500 kms and then change with a brand u like.. get a tune up at 1000kms then gradually drive your bike at 60 or 50 kph for shorter runs till the next tune up of 2000 kms after 2000 kms u will definetly feel more sharp sound and more pick up to reach 60 kph ....the max econo speed..

and the brake problem u have mentioned its commen with stock brake leathers of yamaha ask a mechanic to service ur front brake with sand paper service the leathers and drum of your bike... as u use brake and get it services preodically the sound will vanish ... and the hard wheel operation i would recommend to visit a warranty shop of yamaha so that if there is a defect in wheel bearing or an axle.. it can b fixed without any payments..
but u will have to wait patiently with the brake sound .. cuz it will adjust by some time.. meri new bike main bhi aise he tha jub brake karta tha tou bohat awaz ati thi

this yamaha 100 has a quite sensitive engine compared to honda 70 or 125
i just service my beauty every 1000 kms
change oil and get a tune up
and i have never faced a low performance even once..
    keep ur engine clean
and get a nice tune up
dont forget chain managment on every tune up most mechanics ignore it and the chain makes annoying sound ... i am about to leave now if u want to discuss more with my experiences u can contact me on 03216342040 any time u want cuz bro
4 baje light chali jani hai and i am feeling tiered now
    will reply 2 moro

i think its not a manufacturing problem... the awaz thing when u brake..
    its just not operating smoothly..
sand paper service for drum and leathers can fix ur problem
one or 2 services with sand paper will make the leather and drum smooth..
ho sakta hai drum main dust ho
    ya oil ho
    jub saaf ho jaye ga
tou i hope every thing will b fine

@ aamirraza9 yeah there maybe some problem in drum, or maybe sand paper work it out to give a perfect performance.i discussed this problem with all of my friends most of them said that wait for 2 tune ups and then see what happens....So i'm up to it it's 187 now soon it will be 500 and then i will change the engine oil of it and then on 1k i will tune it up via a good mechanic...Thanks a lot aamir bhai, wish to see you soon, ALLAH hafiz
