    Thumbs up Yamaha to invest $150million in Pakistan

    This is the latest and confirmed news. I heard the news on GEO and also came across this LINK

    I see it as a prologue to an entirely new era in "motor biking" in Pakistan. For the first time Yamaha will locally manufacture bike from 125 to 150cc range, plus the bikes will be featured with EFi technology.

    Lets hope they bring something according to the desires of the biker's community.

    yes its one piece which is imported one in Pakistan..the manufacturing is still to be began..its not local its imported ..from 4th may it will start their campaign..

    I think the picture attached by you is a gs carb or any other butterfly carb but it throttle body of ybr visit this link you will see many pic of throttle body pic they are pretty much the same

    welll by 10HP monkey I mean some thing else, we already have enough monkey around 10HP so whats special about another carby 10HP monkey ?

    and about CG, unfortunately, as I see, YBR will not be able to undo a CG curse.... Its not even competing it on paper....

    Yehi same bike europe me efi release hua ha and india me carb its simple. Only time will tell what Pakistan gets.

    I still purchase this bike and not purchase cg in a million year because i hate from cg

    every one know that ybr is better but ppl will still consider cg over it and I don't know how ybr does compete with cg on paper TCI iginition ensure faster acceleration and higher end torque,long wheel base,and longer fifth gear will ensure good top speed

    Awein log kush ho k raal tapak rahay hain. I am pretty sure Pakistani model of YBR will have a carb. Wo 3 lac ki Derbi still using Carb. The highest version Yamaha will offer MIGHT have an EFI.

    Besides, EFI is over rated.

    Pre-treatment (Process that protect the base metal form rusting) were prepared today for yamaha at our plant site(it provide paint and chemicals to all bikes in pakistan), and line trials planned in January so you can expect these bike will come soon..

    Currently riding a Unique 100, also riding big b's suzuki gs 150 [too heavy ]
    Which 1 better Honda 125 or Suzuki GS 150 ? Next ride - Suzuki GD110

    It will be carb bcz my mechanic told as has taken Yamaha workshop held in August 2014, he is also provide company service for Ravi piaggio and dyl

    Default Finally more confirmed news

    Dear friends. I was first to break news of Yamaha bringing ybr125 to Pakistan. You can check from post date to see that when people were just speculating about Yamaha coming to Pakistan I gave confirmed news of it and also the first bike that they will launch which is ybr125. And yes they did start operations in September when they started mechanic classes and bike testing. Bike release date is expected to be first week of May 2015. Now I have more confirmed news about the bike as follows

    - It will be carbureted bike and not fuel-injected
    - It is completely made in China just like gd110
    - Also, just like gd110 it has a lower ground clearance than locally produced bikes. So expect it to hit a few speed breakers with pillion riding
    - The built quality is good and paint and chrome quality is almost like gd110
    - The bike has less power and more weight than CG125 so do not expect any miracles from it power or speed wise
    - It has same front tyre size (2.75 18) and rear tyre size (90/90 18) as Honda Deluxe and Ravi 125

    The bike handles just like Ravi 125 and is not as agile like Honda CG125 or Honda Deluxe. If you want to know how the bike will behave on road then just test ride Ravi 125. Speed and pick wise CG125 will still be ahead in 125cc 4 stroke category. After test driving the bike I think if someone cannot wait for its launch then they can just go ahead and buy Ravi 125 as feature wise and handling wise its very similar. I am very sad to see that once again Pakistan motorcycle industry is not getting anything good. If one has passion and money then best buy is Suzuki Inazuma which is Fuel Injected 250cc with tubeless tyres and front and rear disk brakes (but price is extremely high).

    your post tell that your another honda fanboy second the bike is not that slow tci ignition ensure faster acceleration and long wheel base,longer fifth gear ensure that the bike will have good top speed ybr have 77mph of top speed that make it 112km/h and cg has 105km/h top speed so it definitely faster than cg and only time will tell how will it acceleration so instead of just typing this info research on it and than share it on forum

    i do not agree with your review at all specially on your saying pakistan industry not getting
    any thing good yaar these yamaha bikes are much better than the decades old atlas honda
    they are new tech bikes and finally some thing fresh & original made by such an big brand
    in motorcycles industry Yamaha themselves manufacturing and giving here unlike atlas honda
    which only have co operation of Honda those bikes are made by atlas

    Its the best & happiest time in our motorcycle industry almost seems like a dream


    Man no comparison of Yamaha made bike loaded with features & new tech with Piaggio 125
