Thumbs up Yamaha to invest $150million in Pakistan

This is the latest and confirmed news. I heard the news on GEO and also came across this LINK

I see it as a prologue to an entirely new era in "motor biking" in Pakistan. For the first time Yamaha will locally manufacture bike from 125 to 150cc range, plus the bikes will be featured with EFi technology.

Lets hope they bring something according to the desires of the biker's community.

Currently GS150 is the fastest bike in Pakistan. I really look forward that the above red Yamaha give tough time to GS150 with better looks, smooth drive and good fuel average at an economical price.

Yamaha to invest 150million in Pakistan -1518423
to this cg even when this cg is bit alter by exhaust

Yamaha to invest 150million in Pakistan -1518424
I my self race with many time and result were like
    first gear=yb
    second gear=yb
third gear= cg was more responsive but due a lil gap cg didn't made it
    fourth gear=yb
maybe a old 80's point model with old jap carb (small outlet dia carb) which is more torgue due to old carb can give tough time to yb but at the state when AHL has deleted oil drain nut to save cost there no way cg smoke yb

Sir g gd110 has 9.5bhp with its 113cc OHC engine. Yamaha really doesnt know the pakistani market at all! Ye bike cg k haton mari jaye gi. Gs150 installments ki waja say bik rahi hai(0 interest). Will yamaha also use this aggressive tactic to get this bike to sell? Lets see

yb is 100% better than cg not just in power but in comfort, roadgrip and my father told me that yb was most advance 2t with suction plate used as valve in engine none of the 2t had it it was fastest and most efficient 2t in 100cc class

the rotary suction valve has been used even in early 70s suzuki, kawasaki kh and a lot other motorcycles, It has good timing but has bad airflow as the carby is placed at the side of the crankcase, High performance setups always have reed valves like the yamaha rx/dt/enduro, honda H100 engines had - they flow a lot more than rotary valves and specially show their superior performance at high rpm.

Most problems started when local Pakistani mechanics took apart the reed and tried to "tune" it by widening the stopper plates (bad idea) and then had no idea why the plates would come loose and get pulled into the engine and destroy it (the recommended procedure is to apply threalocker to the holding screws) - hence the legend of "khara cylinder fail hai"

for average motorcycle mechanic in Pakistan - that blue residue on the screws was "jenyan speshal chemical" and they though it was not available outside Japan.

maybe your father is right but yamaha use to have yb 80 and yb 100 was launched in 70 and it was consider a big displacement luxury bike of that time (in 2t class only) the bigger displacement was later launched in rx series
