Cool My New "Yamaha Junoon" YD100

    Hello Everyone,
Though initially looking at "CG125/YB100" as my bike upgrade from CD70, I ended up getting "Yamaha Junoon" .
I am really enjoying this bike...
Much better acceleration than CD70, No vibrations and damn it's so quiet (just what i wanted). Liking the new Fuel gauge.

    My New "Yamaha Junoon" YD100 - dyuu4l

Problems Faced in 10K Km usage of Junoon

-Bike's side single stand got broken during the running period, got it welded and its going good.
-Electrifier malfunctioned, and resulted in front bulb, rear bulb and speedometer bulbs all fused. Got the electrifier and all the bulbs replaced and it never bothered me again.
-Handle lock malfunctioned, had to get it changed.
-Brake shoes that came with bike weren't good. Got them changed at 3000Km and still using them till 10000Km
-Recently i have noticed vibratory noise at medium RPM, got it checked but DYL mechanics aren't able to find the source.
-Bike leaks engine oil since 5000Km, and DYL mechanics are also confused where is this coming from.
That's about it. No battery or cable problems.

    irfan bro,
talking about engine oils, I am currently using DYL Lube 20W50. I have tried Havoline 20W50 as well and bike performs as happily on havoline as it does on DYL lube, but not using havoline because it is not JASO MA certified which is required for our bikes. But now i have doubt on DYL Lube as well, because on its box, it is written JASO MA certified but as actually Shell is providing engine oil to both DYL and AHL, and on AHL bottle, it is not JASO MA certified.
That being said, i am now thinking to try Castrol Activ 4T 20W50 oil, which is JASO MA2 certified as well.
I also gave a try to Zic 10W40 but it turned out c.r.a.p, you can find my posts about that in this thread.
I get my bike tuned after 2000Km, and change engine oil every 1000Km.

i was also planning to try zic 4t but i am not getting a good responce of it from the people here on pakwheels.

btw nice bike . the biggest advantage of junoon and honda 100 is this that they have very less vibration and very quiet bikes .

Yes i changed the tyre to 3.00-18 6PR for a while, but didn't get any additional grip from that, so changed back to stock 2.50-18 4PR.
And i felt my bike more bumpy with 6PR tyre, don't know why. by the way, your rear tyre is 6PR or 4PR???

    Hello everyone,

please tell me fuel average of your junoon,

in satarting my junoon was giving 58km/L easily but after first tune up its average become 40 and never got better, i tried many mechanics but no achievement.

please tell what your bike is giving?

If any one technical here please tell what thing affect fuel average (not asking about 1st second gear drive, rash driving etc affect fuel average) i am asking about valve clearance, spark plug gap, and needle jet position, float valve settings and idle jet settings out of these which are major causes of fuel consumption, my spark plug always give the reading of rich fuel mixture.
