    Default Yamaha R25 unveiled

YAMAHA Pakistan, please don't keep us wait too long..

Yamaha is all set to join the 250cc motorcycle segment by launching the R25 in India next year, to compete with the likes of CBR 250R and the baby Ninja. The Japanese manufacturer recently unveiled the M1- based R25 at the Tokyo Motor Show. The Yamaha R25 will be twin cylinder, making it a premium 250cc, compared to its Honda and Kawasaki rivals. The twin cylinder motor will be liquid-cooled and use an advance fuel injection system. The R25 borrows its styling from Yamaha?s M1 MotoGP machine, making it one of the best looking quarter-litre motorcycles.
The motorcycle uses a tubular chassis with telescopic front suspension and disc brakes at both the front and rear. ABS might be optional.
It is still not sure if Yamaha would sell the motorcycle with a twin cylinder engine or a single cylinder one. Considering Yamaha aggressive approach with R15, it would be safer to assume that the R25 will be a segment leading motorcycle, in terms of performance, competing with the likes of RC390, Ninja 300 and the Daytona 250.
The R25 is expected to belt out 28-30 horses and priced between 2.5- 3 lakh rupees.
    P.S. Rossi likes this bike..

People who are having too much expectations from Yamaha pakistan, I'd LOVE to see their expressions or impressions when Yamaha b*tch slaps its consumers with some "typical" bike lol.

Educated or non-educated wali to main ne koi baat nahi ki. But phir bhi agar aap 1 baar agar english dictionary use kar "typical" word ka meaning dekh lete to meri baat samjhne main aasanti hoti

Typical means "standard" or "classic". By typical bikes, i meant what we already have here today. Yamaha might tackle a smaller (enthusiast) segment with slightly more advanced bikes (say, EFi) but i don't expect them to be game changer.

Don't forget. Companies always target the masses first because thats where they earn most of their revenues. Limited customers (say, like us) are least of their concern. Which is why i am pitying those who are thinking "highly" about Yamaha's arrival in Pakistan.

Agar ab bhi samjh nai aati baat to please mujeh quote na karo. Because iss se asaan zabaan main i can't explain

Meh. Typical illeterate paki individual wali zabaan. Jab baat samjh main nai aayi, shuri ho gayi "tu ye" "tu wo". If you don't understand some things, don't poke your nose in them, Please. If you think you have, don't act like know-it-all and start this stupid "desi" language.

Anyway, i have already explained what i meant about people's expectations from Yamaha. If thats so hard for you to digest, then just wait and see what happens. The way Honda at the moment is NOT taking any steps to fill the market with newer tech (probably to keep its strong market presence intact), I am almost certain to expect nothing major from Yamaha as well, since they are expected to start business in 2016 ... probably.

The YAMAHA this time will be without the Dawood prefix so I believe that it will make a lot of difference. Secondly, I do not think that they will install a new plant to produce machines of antiquity. Thirdly, in the worst case, at least there will be some competition on the market if anything like Deluxe or RP is produced.
We should, at least, hope for the best. Else everything is already seeing a decay in this land of the pure.
