Things which we feel are missing:

    1. Engine kill switch.
    2. Pass switch.
    3. The YBR-125 basic model for those people who are looking for a new family bike or just those who like things retro.

Where can one find the actual sales figures of YBR so far???

Yes, I know, people are now getting delivery timelines of over 1 month. Demand is more than double the actual supply in Rawalpindi.

This bike is built on Euro2 standard, Yamaha follow 100% the standards rule, not like Honda, which follow only emission part of standard and compromise all others like Sound.

Would it cause any significant advantage if we replace Yamaha YBR-125 stock battery with a dry one?

Biggest advantage being dry, your bike will remain safe from the damage caused by acid. Secondly dry batteries have much longer life.

Would you suggest any specific dry battery for YBR-125. Sorry for noob question, I don't have knowledge/experience in this regard.

I think you shouldn't change the battery... If really wanna change then check the Stock battery AMP and check the Battery Area in Side box, and go to maximum AMP battery which can fit the available size of Battery compartment, It will good in case of you wanna some customization in near future..Like Adding HID, Track Light, etc

Going liquid acid free. My bike fell on its side once and acid from the battery spilled on the silencer, ruining it.

A bigger battery could be harmful for the stock charger as it will put extra load on the charger, which result in lesser battery life also. The same phenomenon with our normal UPS at home can applied here where you simply cannot bigger batteries with smaller chargers / UPS.

The shortest description I can give for ybr after seeing it on a showroom is that, ybr is bit refined form of unique and super power 100cc bikes, as far as body, chasis, mud guards, tyres, rims and odometer etc are concerned. Fuel tank is bit sporty but again low quality pathetic chinese tank lid ruins its look. (Ravi Piaggo has sports fuel tank lid). Seat is bit good quality wise but nearly same as that of deluxe and piaggo. So comparing YBR to other bikes available in mkt, I expected more. Yamaha has shown the same pathetic poor interest in what consumer wants rather how they can get more profits out of their product. Shameful.

Now only engine lefts, lets see how its going to perform in upcoming months. At least I m not going to spent my hard earned money for this piece of crap just for good engine ( GOD KNOWS IF IT even has one!)

IM DAMNED SURE YBR has not a single part made in Japan. This is total chinese made and Pakistan assembled like Honda and all other brands doing now a days

just saw a guy with lady sawari and she wasn't looking uncomfortable at all, like many of us here thinking that lady sawari won't adjust on this bike.
any one saw customers sales guide which dealers have? all the results from the survey which yamaha conducted in 2011 are in it. i asked that dealer if i can borrow this for scanning but he refused with sorry saying we are bound to show this to every customer as i only have one copy what if a customer comes after you take it.
