Things which we feel are missing:

    1. Engine kill switch.
    2. Pass switch.
    3. The YBR-125 basic model for those people who are looking for a new family bike or just those who like things retro.

I think it would have been much better if Yamaha launched the basic YBR-125 as well for people who commute with families on motorbike. This version, though sporty and stylish, is deterring such prospective buyers who are looking for a "fresh" family commuting bike. Yamaha should immediately correct this "mistake" of not launching the basic version.

If you want to make it neutral then after applying first gear you have to push the gear downwards again but only halfway you don't have to push gear all the way down.

I have asked this before, but got no response.

How come Yamaha has chosen to cheapen out on front disk brake? Single cylinder hydraulics? Am I just blind or is it really the case?

Single piston disk brakes are much appropriate than dual piston ones on these small bikes, one cannot even use a drum brake to its full potential on the front wheel... there's always room for skidding.

It's a very appropriate step by yamaha to fit single piston disk. Atlas is odd one here with their deluxe... idk why they installed dual piston disc. Makes no sense.

Did you see the pictures I posted today in this thread? Do they clarify whether it is a single-cylinder hydraulic setup or not?

Enlighten me a little on it: is single cylinder disk brake a bad thing?

Even a kawasaki gto125 having top speed of 140kmph+ came with single piston front disk and my father owned one and he used to say that I used it's front brake with my pinky finger because otherwise front wheel would jam in a flick of a second!
