In that case I don't think this will out beat the CG and in the long run will not be successful.

I'd hate to be riding my YBR & have a CG guy laugh at me coz my more 'sporty' looking YBR is just all looks n no power. In the end, the CG will have the last laugh....AGAIN!
Another sad attempt to dethrone the CG 125!!!!!

I was offered 1k km on clock under running Honda 125 delux which I did not gone for while buying this bike .
On a separate note, cars are better to run beyond 100 on our roads not the bikes and at the same time I do not agree with those who think it a slow bike, will update if I would get a chance for a longer run after the break-in .

CG is just an old age bike surrounded by myths, people here have claimed that they have beaten CG in acceleration on their GD's. So what do you have to say about that.....

I am pretty sure that if you put YBR engine on a CG body, it will go beyond 120km/h quiet easliy. Wait for the YBR-Z (the basic model) and then the engine will show it's true performance.
dear brother cg 125 dry weight is 99 kg and ybr dry weight is 114 kg and as gd's concern it can never beat cg in term of acceleration

Guys stop this race & top speed thing for goodness' sake... any of these machines u r debating about isn't a RACING bike... if u want to achieve personal best highest speed records... kindly consider R6 or R1 or Hayabusa but d machines u guys r talking about, kindly in py reham kro which will b directly proportional to ur personal safety.
These machines are made to take us from point A to B in reasonable time without breaking d speed limits. I don't think any road in Pakistan has speed limit of 100 for bikers.
Consider d facts & stay safe. If not for yourself then think about d family u have.
    Cheers :-)

    @Poisonous.Antidote

If I could afford that R6 or R1 I definitely wouldn't have given the YBR a second glance.

Point is majority of us can only afford this price range....which is why we can only compare it to other bikes in this segment.

Ur argument abt personal safety is technically correct....however, all of us have felt the need for speed at some point of our lives. And when that feeling comes around, ud hope that the sporty looking and overhyped Yamaha would be able to beat the competition.

The top speed being quoted by other owners is 90-100kms/hr which is alot of difference from what the CG-125 achieves (in the same segement).

Ideally speaking we should all keep it under 80kms/hr, but we are human afterall....and speed limit in Pakistan? Seriously....do they even have that law here ?

hum Pakistani smajhty hn k jo bike zoor s garjti h wo zor s bhagti b h. any way upto now CG125 is best in acceleration due to less weight.

Why the hell people don't look for 'features' in a bike? Why its always 'speed' or 'acceleration'?

I have a CG125. Trust me when I say this, this 'acceleration' or 'speed' won't matter when you are stuck in a long line of traffic, or riding your bike on a effed up road. The only thing that'd matter at this point, would be how 'comfy' or 'reliable' your ride is.

By reading many comments here on this thread related ybr 125 can't beat cg 125 and people want speed. Believe me it looks like there are many valentino rossi's on this thread but I never seen in any of them on moto gp Ten Sports Ever. O bhai bat suno jis ko style k lie bike chaye chup ker k ybr 125 le lo aur kia chaye kay 129300 mei Branded bike mil rhe hai and yeh nhe hoga k bhagte nhe hoge bhagte bhe hai but hum logonko woh bike he nhe lgte 125 category mei jo cg 125 ko cross na kray ya cg 125 jitne speed na dei atleast. Mere bhai agar kisi ko abhe bhe nashukre krne hai tow uske mrze k khuda khuda ker k Yamaha aye and stylish bike Introduce ke in pakistan but hum akhir pakistani han har cheez mei keray nikalnay hotay han hum ne. Mere sub velentino rossi type bhaion se guzarish hai k jisko speed he chaye woh cg 125 le le and aur sath mei style bhe chaye tow kisi welder se isper teen dabbay ke chadrain lagwa lei for fairing.
Sorry to say but it's bitter truth which I told.

tu yah driver ka farq har bike per ho sakta hia person to person ho sakta hai Hawa kay pressure per bi ho sakta hai bike kay weight per hi ho sakta hia .. so in short YBR ko Failure ka jawaz na banya jaye in my opinion yamaha here is not came to compete with CG 125 they have 17 models in their portfolio similarly in cars people buy mehran and even buy BMW everyone has his preferences no one buy it cars for racing but keeping comfort and other features in mind it has been said many times YBR not came from heaven and it has his flaws as well similarly other Bikes including Honda, Suzuki Piagao has his Pros and Cons .. so we should accept that Yamah has his own Class by introducing YBR 125 yes it is not for masses .. so i am happy with YBR at least give far batter than my previous deluxe which priced at 124,000 PKR ..

wasye thread starter ka MAsla bi woh nai hai jis ki waja say woh sale kar raha hia believe me i dont want to comment on that everyone has his preferences but i no the biggest factor yar "Indi day awaz hi nai hai " like my Abba g said "Yar indi tay resale hi nai aye tu ki lay liti motorcycle but my Dad own Yamaha 1981 Japan model"..

so this is never ending debate believe me and being a owner of YBR i admit this is not made for Masses but for some specific class who like design, sporty look and comfort . so lets finish it here every one enjoy their HOnda and YBR Let companies start competition which should help consumers at the end.
