if company is officially claiming that customer should not change oil before 3000 there should be something special about oil . which company dont want to sale more of their products

Yamaha lube is base 1 mineral oil of sl grade nothing special abt it 😊.
3k drain interval in small air cooled engine which does not have seperate oil filter is big gamble which a new owner must not play.
Ybr can prove to be white elephant if some thing goes wrong.
Btw jadoon u did good 😊

Engine oil drain interval doesn't fully depend on oil filter presences most of the chonda have very little drain interval due to the reason of they having pathetic breath cranck case design and due very same reason chonda engine have a lot of slugh inside as engine oil have resposibilty of cleaning engine as well so more slugh result in oil going bad early

Bottom line is that engine oil drain period depend upon engine design more than oil filter presence

3k Drain Interval on an Engine which doesn't have a Oil Filter ... I don't think the buyers are dumb enough to fall for this marketing trick. The GS150 which DOES have an Oil Filter "BARELY" lasts for 3k, and we are talking about YBR.

Also, lets not forget that even AHL's oil is said to last you 2000 kms. Does it? If it can last you even 1000kms, that'd be considered a BIG DEAL (and it doesn't; trust me. If you don't use it yourself and you'll see).

So the point being; manufactures always exaggerate these things. Even if YBR is designed with 'latest tech', at best it can take is HALF of what manufacturer recommends i.e. 1500kms. If you use a high quality oil such as a Liquimoly 10W-40 (which costs like Rs.1000 per 1L bottle) ... THEN i can say that it just might last you close to 3000kms.

Anyway, 'expert' riders will know when their bike's oil is close enough for a change. And when it happens, i will be very curious to know their impressions.

So we should stop using full syn oil in our cars / motorcycles and before buying any ride we must only check and certify that this engine is design for longer oil drain intervals?

MashaAllah... Brother on what Speed You are Running @ Break in Period? Am running 50-60 kmh @ 5Rpm not over it... My Bike Current meter Reading is 108km.. Is it fine?

One more thing can i Ride my Bike 25km non stop in this period maintaining same speed & Rpm? According to Manual some Intervals required not constant speed...

Last one... I visited Yamaha Service center today... He asked me to come after 500km for Oil change and Tappet Adjustment... According to Manual Tappet Adjustment required 1000km but Engineer told me that Clearance is more important.. What Does it mean??

brother i am taking it to max 50 km/hr till now at 4k rpm. but 5k rpm is okay because in manual it is written that before 500 kms, we can ride at 6k rpm max. i guess get the tappets adjusted at 1000 kms. dont worry, keep riding it properly and avoid overspeeding or load on the engine. i wont recommend you to ride 25 kms at the same speed. keep changing the speed between 45 to 60 km/hr. just change the oil and dont get the tappets adjusted now because he will fill the first tunning coupon jo 1000 kms pr honi hai tunning.

brother the mechanic at the dealer near my place had alot of info on bikes. he knew each and everything. he is a very famous mechanic of DT trails and heavy bikes. just beside the dealer's shop, he owns a big shop where he rebuilds heavy bikes and chopper bikes.
