    Default Yamaha ybr 125 2015

    Hi. Pakwheelers,

    Allah Almighty has bestowed me Yamaha YBR 125 on the Mubarak day of Jumma-tul-Vida i.e. 17th July 2015 at the introduction price of Rs.129,400/-.

    The Yamaha YBR 125 is a light motorcycle made by the Yamaha. first Introduced in 2005 in the world other than Pakistan. Now in 2015 it is introduced in Pakistan.

    I have researched on this bike from different angles e.g. Fuel Consumption, Price, Engine type, Looks, Power, and Accessories etc. As many of you know that I was proud owner of Honda Pridor and it was the first bike sold by Honda at that time in Lahore market and was a very good bike which was totally hassle free.


    The part of my research is shared with you all friends here in the form of a table.
    Yamaha YBR 125 has changed the style of people on the road as it is the most lucrative bike ever in Pakistan. Being the introducing bike; Yamaha has produced it with the following pros. & cons.:
    Pros. & Cons:

    1. Soft touch Self-starter switch.
    2. Comfortable to use indicator switch.
    3. Headlight with parking light and sleek visor.
    4. Most Attractive and Sexy Tank with slip support while breaking the speed with front disc break.
    5. Alloy wheels of 18 inch size each.
    6. Sophisticated and stylish meter with 140km/hr. limit and an easy vision in the night with glowing needles.
    7. Full chromed muffler with safety layer of chrome putty.
    8. Butterfly Carburetor for more efficient fuel delivery.
    9. Big Battery and direct head light ON function.
    10. Beautiful Fuel on/off switch. Overall looks are killer and Color quality is impressive.
    11. Bike covered up till 15000kms with 5 free tunings.

    The cons. of Yamaha YBR 125 are:

    • Mud guard in front of rear tyre is missing. The mud guard of front fender is also missing.
    • Engine Kill switch is missing.
    • Dipper switch is missing.
    • The distance between the chain cover and rear tyre is narrow.
    • Parts are very expensive.
    • Missing issue before 1000km.

    gears tou bro ise wajah se masla kartay hain because clutch press he nae horha hota pore tarah isleay bike free nae horha hota thats why gear chngng men problm hote hai...bt i will get it set tmrw by 3s dealership lets see after that thnkx for sharing ur experience

    ke wheel should not turn na when clutch is pressed nd bike is in gear bt on double stand?my bike wheel is rotating with clutch pressed i checked....wht to do nw?u teied adjusting from clutch handle screw bt tyre is still rotating wht to do?

    Daer mera jo experience hai wo garam hone ki wajha se nae ho raha aisa rush main hum bar bar clutch ka use karte hen to setting out hote he new bikes main aisa hota hai mere sath cg k sath b yehe masla hua tha. Clutch use to hoge to masla set ho jaega.

    I have also gone through this once and then i set the clutch settings and issue was resolved.

    Also it has another way to treat and that is you can turn off the bike while in long jam heavy traffic and then start by using self starter switch when the traffic moves. Also remember it may be due to the new clutch cable which gets loose after pressing the clutch continuously and you may get it adjusted and after use of a couple of months; the time will come that the cable will be adjusted forever. So don't be worried.

    Racer this issue should not be ignored by any bike owner what Shahzaib has told if its
    ignored can result to clutch plate worn out or burned as said so i highly recommend
    all ybr owner you should not ignore this issue and get your clutch settings right immediately
    here i also want to add many riders specially i have seen in sindh don't leave clutch level full
    they slight keep it pulling which also is cause of early clutch plate worn out when gear is shifted
    you must leave the clutch and also honda mechanic was telling me many users give some throttle
    and then keep pull clutch and goes on he was saying that is not right also it also damages clutch plates

    beo i was able to resolve it by adjusting cable bt nw i have loose it too much that at the end of disengaging clutch bike moves i have to readjust it nw...bt nw i am satisfied tht its nt a big issue i can take care of it myself....the thing whch is nw annoying me is that smell like smthng is burning when ever i switch off the bike nd i am using bike 6rpm max at every gear randomly 7rpm tak b lejata hun bt kbhe kbhar frst oil chng was done at 300km nw i am curious is it the wrong oil whch is causing ths burning smell i travel on it to my uni whch is at max 12km from my home bt ths smell comes right after i park my bike nd sometimes when i am stuck in traffic...meanwhile i have also noticed when ths smell comes bikes perfrmnc goes down mtlb k smooth feel nae ate bike men....

    Boss mene jo experience keya hai wo btaya hai....i dont know much k konsa oil acha hai phr men dealership gya tha they dint evn ask k konsa dalen unhun ne yamalube dal deya...the thing is har bnday ka apna he experience hai sm1 is happy with zic sm1 is happy wth liquymoly nd sm1 is evn happy with yamalube....may be i am driving too rough nd at high rpm thats th thing causing ths prblm

    bt 1 thing i knw for sure is that k kuch b ho bike men oil especially new bike men oil thin use karna chaheay otherwise saray parts tak nae jata engine oil jis wajah se wear tear bohat zada hote hai nd engine khrab hota hai iska sbb se zada nuksan subha thand men hota hai jb thick oil thand se aaur b zada thick hojata hai nd har part tak nae phnch pata lekan yamalube is very thin as comapre to zic wagera thats the reasn i think k yamaha is recmndng yamalube

    You are right bro, the oil should be changed according to the season's change and according to the temperature change chart.
