Default Yamaha YBR G not crossing 90 km/h

    Slaam to all @Xulfiqar, @vickytulla, @amjad635, @saboor73

i bought YBR G model few days back

now odometer reading is 1200 km

    i did running very carefully

according to advice of friends i changed oil first at 250-300 then 700 and now at 1025 km with liqui moly 10w40

i did running according to following steps

    first 200 km speed was 40 km/h

    200-500 speed 50-55 km/h

    500-800 60-65 km/h

    800-900 80km/h

900-1025 tried to speed it up

    but not crossed 100

    speeding pattern is

    in 2nd gear 60 km/h

    3rd gear 80km/h (10000 rpm)

4th gear 90km/h with 8000 rpm full throttle (some times 95)

5th gear no use RPM decrease and also 5km/h speed decreases

one thing that is teasing me that when i changed first oil a lot of metal particles were in oil and there also a "Needle" of just 1.5 inch was also present in oil

i am very tensed what to do

    pakwheelers help me please

Seems like carb setting or air flow issue? have any of the consulted mechanics so far, has checked the Carb thoroughly like Float height, needle jet, hi jet, slide diaphragm etc.? CV carbs (used in GS150, Sprinter & YBR 125) are difficult to understand for most of our mechanics than a complete engine. In case of stuck choke, or CDI issue the bike shudnt have touched the 95~100 in 4th gear so get the Orginal CDI on board first and then seek for solution. As @Naveed4speed suggested some mechanic having good hands on Suzuki 4 Stroke bike might be the right choice at the moment. As mostly Yamaha service center guys are just expert of DYL products like Dhoom and Junoon and will take time to learn.

    @imranbhatti.
You have explained it even more clearly.
I have experienced with yamaha mechanics.
And they realy treat the bike just the way they used to do with other tech bikes.
Yamaha is completely new setup for them....
And i had bad experience with 3 yamaha mechanics.
Suzuki mechanics atleast has experience with these bikes so they know well all about mechanism

I know jaani, Laikin jitna in logoun nai tumhain nichora hai utnay main to banda goli maar dai inhain. Sachi baat, The only work shops are of Honda in Pakistan. Suzuki, Yamaha do have workshops but their Mechanics are those who left Honda at one point only because of offers of higher salaries by other companies.

Honda Mechanics bhi koi arsh nai nahe utray huai. Its just that they are the ones with proper workshops. So far i haven't seen one Workshop in Multan of Suzuki or Yamaha with quality labor.

Honda k kisi achay workshop sai thoray paisay hi ziyada lagain gai par kaam acha ho jayega. Aur yes, I agree to the upper posts, Tumhari bike main genuine CDI system reinstall karwao pehley aur tumhari bike main koi masla nahe siwae carburetor k .

OK then you have no need to worry its only valves adjustment problem if A proper valves adjustment of your bike will be done by a sensible mechanic then your bike will be do 110-115km/h very easily just calm down & wait for a proper adjustment if i was in your city i will be done this job with my own hands & your bike will be become a rocket

100% truth don,t even think about to go to any honda mechanics because they have no proper tool for suzuki or ybr in suzuki for intake valve adjustment 0.04mm feeler gauge tool will be used otherwise in honda,s measurement starts from 0.05mm suzuki+ybr has same OHC+butterfly carb technology & also don,t even think about to touch to your ybr carb from any mechanic just read & read knowledge from net & do it your self you will do it better from any mechanic.i was also facing same kind of problem in my GS150 bike was not crossing 100km/h i have read & learn so much from this forum & on that knowledge basis i have adjusted my bike valves myself & now Alhamdolilah my bike easily touch 110-115km/h
