Default Worst Days of my Life

    Hey fellow pakwheelers,
I'm hell tensed while writing this. i usually don't write much on the forum i just search and read different posts. But could not stop my self from writing this time.

The story is simple i bought my YBR-125 Blue colored from chakwal ( my home city ) on 23 February 2016 and brought it with me to Rawalpindi as i am a student here at Riphah University.

On the day of Friday on 26 February 2016 i was going back to chakwal on my bike when suddenly near Gujarkhan i met an accident that badly trashed the front of my bike and i got some hits on my shoulders arms and legs.

It happened so that i was riding my bike on the speed of 50Km/h when suddenly a Hi-Ace from my right side made a sharp turn and came in-front of me it was so abrupt that i couldn't apply brakes or do some maneuvers to save my self so i went ahead and struck the Hi-Ace from one side and then i fell on the road.

It was first accident of my motorbiking carrier and i am really tensed about it right now while lying on my bed. Just wanted to share with someone so i thought i should post here.

Lesson Learned : beware of Big vehicles while riding they don't even look back when they have struck a motor-biker

Update : Alhamdulillah 99% recovered from injuries thanks all of brothers for their kindness...

Alhamdullilah your injuries were tame compared to how bad it could've gone. In my opinion, bikes are fundamentally unsafe and if you have a car, use your bikes only for quick errands. There's very little you can do to avoid all the idiots on the road armed with 1.5 tonnes of metal.

    @sbdanish911

how about injuries? and is there any fracture?

Don't consider about bike right now

    Think about your self

    Thank God you are save

    You are very lucky ,

10 days back in front of my eyes 1 Hi-ace wagon in hurry collided with a Qingqi Rickshaw

and in this accident , a 10 year Girl lost her right arm (her arm was separated in mid between elbow and shoulder) and was removed by Surgeon few hours later

when ever we (any biker ) have to go outside , he should recite ayat-ul-kursi 3 times

    Best Wishes for you

    May you get well soon

How can a helmet protect your shoulder, arms and legs because OP wrote that he had injuries on these places and not on the head.

I know I read that words and I know helmet protect head not rest of the body. OP didn't mentioned helmet nor head injuries. If he was wearing it he should mention its benefit but if he not then how he saved his head?

Moral of the story : 4 wheels are better than the 2, a good condition fx can be found in less than 2 lacs and believe me its far safer than the bikes on Highways, bike should be limited to city rides

Sad to hear for your incident, good that you shared it.

Motors bikes are nice convenient to park and quick ride from one place to the other within city. But at the same time more risky in case of accident like you.

God Bless you with speedy recovery, get the new bike repaired from 3s and getting back on the road on bike be in a proper safety gear along with travel cautions.
I am only responsible for what I say, not for what you understand..

Thank you to all of my brothers for replying it really helped me a lot.

And yeah i should be Thanking Allah that i was saved from any major injury just got some scratches and a bruised foot and nothing serious

And yes about that helmet i was wearing a helmet and yes it saved my head and face from grazing seriously now i think a proper riding gear is very important with all the essentials

    No bone was fractured Alhamdulillah

And IA i will use my four wheeler for long journeys from now on as i don't have yet the courage to step on highways again with my bike

Once again thank you all of the brothers who helped me rise again from depression :-)
