Default Issues with YBR, YBR G

    Hello Folks,

From some sources in Yamaha Pakisan i got an invitation to meet a couple of people. They are actually conducting a Survey and want us to bring CG and CD users to have a discussion. And they also wan to me brief them about the issues YBR owners are facing. So i request all YBR owners here to kindly post the issues here and i will make a complete list of it and will discuss with the concerned people in meeting.

Please keep this thread alive as i need some data before i go and meet them

    P.S. I am a CG 125 Classic user

    Issues

    1) Very poor mechanics training , as mechanics are unable to tune up the bike

    Explanation:

in the running bike gives average of 45 maxi and all of us know that in running/break in period higher fuel supply is made and after 1st tune up average gets better in other bikes case

in case of yamaha, in break in average is 40-45 and after break in average lowers down to 35-45 km/h

in break in period yamaha (YBR-G) top speed is 100 and in contrast to other bikes, top speed of yamaha decreases (mostly)

    2) Very 3rd class after sales service (its easy to import a bike as compared to claim in Yamaha in pakistan)

    3) yamaha's own dealers are doing negative propaganda against Yamaha, they opt the opinion that Yamaha has launched 3rd class bike (about YBR and YBRG) not all the mechanics, but some of them

    4) slow acceleration of bike

    5) Even the company online service, their company number and customers care representatives make the customers fool

and biggest fraud by company is that they suggest customers to wait, as technical engineer will contact you and never, ever engineer contacts customer

this field is severely neglected by Yamaha, and needs attention.

    6) Bike manufactured by company is no doubt a piece of art to love but when mechanics come b/w you and your bike (YBR/YBR.G) driving pleasure is diminished absolutely

most people sold their bikes after tune ups as mechanics destroyed/ruined the bike

yamaha should concentrate on mechanics training vigorously and at the same time on after sales service

Salam.. though the bikes are not meant to be driven at 120 or 100 KMPH but they should have the power to go there...YBR G tends to stop at around 90 KMPH..otherwise the smoothness and comfort in un matchable..

these are not issues of one users

this is kahani ghar ghar ki

and how many of YBR users, use pakwheels?

    very few

if you want to collect some data for statistical analysis based on real facts you have to spare some time and interview at least 50-60 person using YBR

than you may have some good idea

By the way i owned 2 YBR-G bikes and using the G version since its launch

if you may really convey our problems to company, than its really good

but please please shake company persons very hardly even you may use electric shock to awake them from sleep

Default Issues with YBR, YBR G

I just got the first oil change in my ybr after first 500km,
And it's like as soon as the oil change the engine sweet melody came back at once.
    Loving every moment of it.
100% better then shitty deluxe which I had brand new in 2014 and sold it for this beauty.

Lack of interest free installment plans for 3-6 months payback period. Many people disregard interest based plans due to religious inclination(s).

Also, Yamaha should perhaps hold periodic driving school and training sessions in all major cities (perhaps in collaboration with PBC, etc) for responsible riding to prevent accidents and risky biking. This should be open to all bikers, new and old. Not only will it expose people to Yamaha bikes, it will create positive image of Yamaha which could be advertised.

The biggest problem is with the mechanics. The moment they open your carb for the 1st tuning, they simply ruin your bike. There are a number of people who sold their bike after getn it tuned for the 1st time.

I raised all the issues infornt of MD Yamaha n i dn remember hz name

their main concern regarding the current 125's available in mkt like CG and other Chinese brands.

i strongly advised them to keep price nt more then 105K if they really want to make it a success and foremost thing plz FGS train your mechanics and also the temperament of your Managers and Dealers

did you also raise the question on mechanics training???

if yes, and they do some work on this it would be a good favor for all YBR/YBR-G owners
