They need to tell us that they are here to sell bikes not just to be a small market share holder.

Brother the biggest problem faced by Yamaha owners is mechanics. You might be lucky by getting a good mechanic but most ybr owners have got this problem.

My YBR125 just completed 1000kms. 1st tuning is done by yamaha certified mechanic.
In break in period i didnt cross 65km/hr & 5.5rpm.
now after tuning, bike easily go upto 90km/hr in 4th gear & i push too hard in 4th then shift to 5th it easily touches 100km/hr & the top speed i achieved is almost 110km/hr. I ride my bike with average of 75km/hr. so YBR125 quite satisfied me..

Some people also say that its under powered!!
believe me you can feel the response if you push throttle. Upto 90-95km/hr no feeling of under powered. but after 100km/hr you can say it take alot effort to acheive 110km/hr.. Upto me its quite responsive bike.

Well obviously its still just a 125 cc engine what more can one ask for after all the comfort the bike is providing!

    Obviously comfort is above all.
for daily users speeding is not the issue if someone rides bike almost 60-70kms/day i think comfort is more imp. secondly 125cc bikes are not racer bikes. if it giving you top speed of 100km/hr what you want more than that..
People how want speed should buy YAMAHA R1 atleast.

You make it sound like r1 is nothing XD. Proper superbikes, built to be driven at higher speeds are atleast 500cc and have an inline four. One example being the r6 or cbr 550 & 600rr.

I get my facts from the masses. There are numerous people out there stuck with this 90km top speed problem. Majority of them got their carbs opened at the time of their 1st tuning resulting in ths problem. There is a famine of good mechanics for ybrs out there.

Not everyone is interested in fast acceleration. Some want smoothness and comfort rather then peril and discomfort. My ybr just crossed 10k and I am perfectly happy with it. No issues faced as such with mechanics either.

Obviously, I believe that these bikes shouldnt be bought on the basis of speed or acceleration but on the basis of comfort and mileage. These are daily runners not superbikes!

For the record, i love the suspension and the styling of the ybr . Its a beauty undoubtedly but we better learn to accept when smething is wrong. They don't have good mechanics out there and there are people suffering cos of it. If the bike is capable of something then those who have paid for it want it as well.

    Finally! A brilliant answer!

It's a bloody 125cc COMMUTER bike, not a frigging Superbike, for crying out loud...!!!

The last thing the world expects from a 125cc Motorcycle is TOP SPEED... When people buy a bike with such a tiny engine, they care about comfort, fuel economy, agility and ride-ability in heavy traffic, torque (often called "pick-up" here), engine reliability and durability, spare-parts availability and of course THE PRICE...

But our AWAM... Ha! They first thing they ask when they see a new motorcycle in the market:

سب کچھ چھڈ دے، اہڈی ٹاپ سپیڈ کنی اے؟

    LOLz!!!

Problem yeh ha kah Pakistan main people consider 125 to be a superbike lol as you have none other options and Honda no matter how shitty it is still delivers on that point. Acceleration and speed.
