    Default Restored Yamaha YG-1 80cc 1972

This 2-stroke motorcycle was restored by many including the late Prof Masood of UET Lahore. Still in working condition and runs very well. Most of the parts are still genuine.
Recent maintenance is done by Mohammad Ilyas at his workshop in Lahore and is one of the very few person who understands the working of this motorcycle.

By the way I am looking for a similar "Tanki" for this bike, if someone knows the source please inform.

this Yamaha 80 has a gear selector outside the crankcase & behind the magnet wheel. I am afraid there wont be many guys who can adjust gear shifting of this model. Best of Luck for restoration.

True, but late Prof Masood fixed it somehow and now there is no issue with gear shift... works perfectly fine. He was a great person and biker... I missed him a lot.

Prof Masood was an icon for bike lovers, May Allah Have mercy on his soul. Very helpful & kind soul. So was Dr. Manzoor, alas both left us in a very short period of time.
