Default 200cc liquid cooled Yamaha YBR-G Boxer Swapped Offroad Bike

The most remarkable bike in Pakistan currently is YBR and its off-road brother YBR-G, if you happen to be a Piston head and like exploring your ride and its technical stuff you might have noticed that it is very well engineered motorcycle.

Infact its far better then any other motorcycle available off-shelf, an good competitor in quality it might have is a Suzuki's GD110 which is also one hell of a well engineered piece of art.

Any one who needs a trouble free ride for couple of years these two are your best choices you would ever make.

Any ways, Recently a friend contacted over the fone who was done with his YBR, his ride was only 4k ridden but he was too much fed up by its performance, he inquired that if there is a solution for that, well we had only 11HP what can we squeeze more out of it... ?

So we sorted out an engine upgrade for it, the bike being brand new was a sacrifice which had to be given, as I see up till today this is a 3rd YBR which has got its engine upgraded because the owners were always very sad to tell that YBR is not able to keep up with its competitors... (you know what I am talking about )

I find it really really sad that after spending bag full of money people still weep over its lousy performance.

So one fine day we grabbed the engine out of the YBR and shoved a Big 200cc engine in it, the results is astonishing as YBR is lighter the Ravi Piaggio it resulted in a "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee ..." type performance...

Enough said, I would let the pictures do the talking now.

The main goal of this YBR was not to alter the frame.chasis, nor alter the engine, but Yamaha has very different and maniture fame and cannot go bolt on so we created adapter harness b/w frame and engine to make it a fit and a reversable option in future as well.

The Bike stayed with me for a week, its torque, its engine grunt is huge, good Cruise speed ... now the bike has gone to its orignal owner, if you are a lahore you might see it some day, or else if you are a tourist then you might meet him in Himalaya as he travels in those areas..

Stock YBRs can reach some where around 105~110kmh

Stock YBRG have been seen to lag behind 100kmh or some where around 100kmh only.

This specific YBRG was able to do only 95kmh in stock condition.

YBR, YBRG have relatively same speed as CG yes comparable ..

But accelration is less in YBRs

This 200cc Swapped is way quicker then CG in accelration also has far better top end and Cruise speed.

If you are in Lahore then you are in Luck.

There is a mechanic shafeeq denter on Ravi Road who is the only guy who has the harness to fit these big engines in YBR without any frame alteration.

for engine, it is available from scrap market for about 20~26k depending on how new it is, if you need any guidance give me a call or PM me and I can give you the whole details.
