Finally, Honda Atlas has let the cat out of the bag. The company revealed the five variants of the new Honda City and opened their bookings back in May. Two and a half months later, we now know the official prices of these variants. Here they are. Interestingly enough, Honda has already booked around 12,000 units without even revealing the new sedan. That shows how eagerly people have been waiting for the new City. Feature Highlights of New City The old City has been around for more than 12 years now. It’s the 5th generation model that only has basic features. The new 6th generation City has many modern features such as: Electronic Power steering Smart Key Entry Electric + Auto Retractable Door Mirrors Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) Emergency Brake Distribution (EBD) Push Start Automatic Air Conditioning Rear AC Vents Cruise Control Driver Seat Height Adjustment 15-inch Alloy Wheels Please note that only the upper two variants have most of the above features.  The B-segment sedan segment of the Pakistani market is getting more and more populated, and the competition is getting more and more heated. New entrants like Proton and Changan have launched brand new sedans, Proton Saga and Changan Alsvin. As a comeback, Honda has updated the generation of its old sedans, Honda City. And then, there’s Toyota Yaris, the number one sedan in Pakistan.  Let’s see if the new Honda City can take over Yaris and pose a threat to Saga and Alsvin. What do you say? 

As the launch of Honda City 6th Generation is happening today. Here are the complete specs and features of this new car. It is pertinent to mention that the vehicle is going in 5 variants, i.e., 1200cc Manual, 1200cc S CVT, 1500cc S CVT, 1500cc AS Manual, and 1500cc Aspire S CVT. Engine and Transmission:  All the variants have SOHC i-VTec 4-Cylinder 16-Valves engine. The first two variants have a 1199cc engine with 88hp and 110Nm torque. Meanwhile, the remaining three have a 1497cc engine, generating 118hp and 145Nm torque. The two manual variants (1200cc & 1500cc) have 5-Speed Manual Transmissions, while the other three have CVT Transmissions. Exterior:  All variants come with Premium Dual Barrel Halogen Headlights with Integrated DRLs. The Rear Lights have Advanced Wrap-Around Bulb lights, while the Fog Lamps (Bulb) is optional in first three variants, while offered in top two ones. The 1500cc AS Manual and 1500cc AS CVT have 15-inch Alloy Wheels, while the other three variants have 15-inch Steel Wheels. All five variants have a 15-inch Steel Wheel as a Spare Tyre. Meanwhile, the first three variants have Keyless Entry with Trunk Opener, while the remaining two variants (1500cc AS M/T & 1500 AS CVT) have Smart Key Entry. And the wait is finally over, the Honda City has been launched in Pakistan. The car was revealed in Lahore.  Yesterday, the company  made the announcement on its official page. The new Honda City is here to compete with Toyota’s golden egg-laying goose, Yaris, Changan’s one and only player, Alsvin, and Proton’s star sedan, Saga. And it's official now as the wait for new Honda City is over. According to the official Facebook page of Honda Pakistan "Good things come to those who wait, and in this case, the wait will be worth it." Hinting the launch of this new sedan, the company wrote, "Get ready because it's finally time." The page has also shared a video teaser with a message for its consumers that "Wait is Over" and asked them to "Get Ready". So, officially, we can say now that the launch is around the corner. Expected Price:  The new Honda City has created a serious buzz in the local market. The company has not revealed the specs and features, official launch date, or actual price of the car; it has reportedly booked around 12,000 units of new City. As per our sources, the rate of 1200cc is Rs27,25000. Furthermore, we think that the spotted car was 1200cc CVT, meaning 1200cc with Manual Transmission can be around Rs2,525,000. The reason behind our guess is that the price of CVT is around Rs2,00,000. Variants of New Honda City The new Honda City will be available in five variants. Two of them have a 1200cc engine, and the other three come with a 1500cc powertrain. The 1.5L engine produces 118hp and 145 Nm of torque. The 1.2L engine produces 89 hp and 114 Nm of torque.
