BREAKING – Suzuki Car Prices Increased
Not so surprisingly, Suzuki car prices have been increased. We said not so surprisingly because the government imposed 2.5% Federal Excise Duty (FED) on cars up to 1300cc. And we all know that this is the segment dominated by Suzuki.
We were expecting the price increase and it is here. So, here are the new prices of the Suzuki cars. But before starting, let us tell you that the new Suzuki car prices will be applicable from today (January 19th, 2022).
Suzuki Alto
According to the company the new price of this 660cc car are:
- The base variant, Alto VX, will now cost Rs. 1,306,000 compared to previous rate of Rs. 1,274,000. It means the car has seen a jump of Rs. 32,000, which is a lot for a small car.
- Meanwhile, the mid-variant Alto VXR has seen an increase of Rs. 38,000, taking the price to Rs. 1,546,000 against the previous price of Rs. 1,508,000.
- And the top of the line variant, Alto VXL, saw an increase of Rs. 43,000 and now it will cost Rs. 1,747,000 against Rs. 1,704,000.
Suzuki Cultus
The 1000cc Suzuki Cultus also comes in three variants:
- The new price of base variant, Suzuki VXR, is Rs. 2,030,000 against the old rate of Rs. 1,904,000, means its price has been increased by Rs. 126,000.
- The price of mid variant, Suzuki VXL, is increased by Rs. 139,000, taking the price to Rs. 2,244,000 against previous price of Rs. 2,105,000.
- The top of the line, Cultus AGS, saw a jump of Rs. 150,000, taking the price to Rs. 2,422,000 against the old rate of Rs. 2,272,000.
Suzuki Wagon R
This car also comes with 1000cc engine and its new rates are:
- The base variant, Wagon R VXR, has seen an increase of Rs. 117,000, meaning its new price is Rs. 1,877,000 compared to previous rate of Rs. 1,760,000.
- Mid variant, Wagon R VXL, observed a jump of Rs. 123,000. Now you can buy this variant in Rs. 1,975,000 against Rs. 1,852,000.
- Lastly, top of the line variant, Wagon R AGS, will now cost Rs. 2,158,000 compared to last price of Rs. 2,024,000, meaning it saw an increase of Rs. 134,000.
Suzuki Bolan
Currently Suzuki Bolan is coming in only one variant, Bolan VX and now:
- It will cost Rs. 1,178,000 against the old rate of Rs. 1,149,000, meaning it saw an increase of Rs. 29,000.
