We all know how Elon Musk likes to tease the audience before revealing something truly remarkable and beautiful. Well, another new teaser image has been released. The image shows a shadowy vehicle’s front and side. Another very significant news from Tesla came as an answer to the question about the auto sectors in which Tesla will be aiming to expand in the near future. Elon Musk has revealed that Tesla will develop a compact car within the next five years. While the chief didn’t give away any details, many are speculating that this compact car might be Tesla’s champion to compete against Volkswagen’s ID electric car which is planned to be unveiled by 2020.
According to Elon Musk, Tesla Model 3 is going very strong. Tesla chief says that the Model 3 has defeated the sales of its biggest premium sedan competitors including Mercedes C-class, A4, BMW 3-series, and Lexus IS. This makes Tesla Model 3 the most-selling premium sedan in the U.S. We all know about production difficulties faced by Tesla right now, which has resulted in a very slow ‘rolling-out’ rate of Tesla Model 3. However, along with revealing that the company is able to build 3,500 Model 3 units weekly, Elon Musk has also said that the company will be able to produce 5,000 Model 3 units per week by the start of July.
That’s not all. Tesla has also revealed that the next generation of Roadster and the Semi truck will be revised before their production begins. Tesla Semi truck will be revised to meet the regulations of an even larger portion of the world. Roadster, on the other hand, is just set to be redesigned to perform even better than the current build.
