Going Against Trend – Hyundai Increased Porter Price
While the local car market is experiencing a downward trend in prices, Hyundai Nishat has taken a unique stance by announcing a price increase for its commercial vehicle, Porter H-100, by Rs. 200,000. This unexpected decision, which goes against the current market dynamics, will come into effect from July 2024.
New Porter Price
- The first variant, Deckless, will now cost Rs. 4,039,000 instead of Rs. 3,839,000.
- The new price of Flat-Deck is Rs. 4,059,000 instead of the previous Rs. 3,859,000.
- The High-Deck used to cost Rs. 3,879,000, and after a hike of Rs. 200,000, it will now cost Rs. 4,079,000.
- The Deckless with AC will now cost Rs. 4,149,000 instead of the old rate of Rs. 3,949,000.
- The next variant, Flat-Deck with AC, will now cost Rs. 4,169,000 instead of Rs. 3,969,000.
- The last variant, High-Deck with AC, used to cost Rs. 3,989,000, and after the hike, its price reached Rs. 4,189,000.
Hyundai Statement
In a statement, the company stated that in response to the evolving market landscape, we are enacting adjustments to the pricing structure of Porter H-100. “This proactive step underscores our commitment to fairness, integrity, and sustained competitiveness in our pricing strategy,” the car assembler said.
