Hyundai Elantra Price REVEALED!

The price of Hyundai Elantra has been revealed. The new sedan was launched during an online ceremony today. As per company, the price of this new vehicle is Rs4,049,000. It is pertinent to mention that this is ex-factory price excluding Withholding Tax.

Furthermore, the booking will be started tomorrow.

It is pertinent to mention that Hyundai Nishat Motors has launched this car in competition of Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic. The new Elantra is including in the executive segment of sedans in Pakistan. This is the third sedan launched in local market since last March. Toyota Indus Motors launched Yaris in March 2020, which proved to be a huge success. Then in December 2020, Changan Alsvin was unveiled, which also has emerged as a success. However, both of these sedans ranged from Rs2.2million to Rs3million. Meanwhile, Elantra is costlier than them.

Competing Honda and Toyota:

Furthermore, this category has been dominated by Honda Atlas and Toyota Indus for decades. Both companies have been competing with their respective cars. On one hand Toyota has recently launched its Corolla X Package, while Honda is all set to introduce new generation of Honda City and Honda Civic in 2021-22. Hence, the launch of Elantra will make the competition interesting, as we will see whether new entrant is going to dominate the segment or old actors will hold their position.

Hyundai in Pakistan:

Hyundai Nishat Motor has made a significant impact in compact crossover SUV category by launching Tucson. Now, with launch of Elantra, we will see whether it would be a success in sedan category or not. With the exterior and interior looks, and eagerness among the consumers, it seems that it would be a hit in local market. However, it will hugely depend on the quality of locally assembled CKD unit.

So, fingers crossed and best of luck for Hyundai Nishat Motors for Elantra.
