The Honda Civic is a compact sedan with a long history, launched originally in the 1970s. Across its many generations it has transformed from a small economical vehicle into a sophisticated sedan with modern technology and added comfort. • Eleventh generation Civic was launched in Pakistan in March 2022, introducing three trims: Standard, Oriel, and RS. All use the same 1.5-litre turbocharged engine and (L-15 series) with CVT transmissions. The RS earns extra power and more features.

• The facelifted Civic was revealed internationally on 21 May 2024 for the 2025 model year and released on 12 June 2024. Changes included a redesigned front fascia with a new grille, body-coloured trim pieces, new alloy wheel designs, fresh exterior colours, a grey interior option, and infotainment upgraded with Google built-in integration.

• Alongside the facelift, Honda also introduced a hybrid powertrain for Civic sedan and hatchback models in North America in 2024, effectively replacing the discontinued Insight (3rd generation). 

This hybrid system has now replaced the 180 hp turbocharged L15 engine and also phased out the older K20C2 engine. These updates, however, are international only and not part of the Civic lineup currently offered in Pakistan
