Yamaha YBR 125 is a light motorcycle manufactured by the Japanese manufacturer Yamaha. It was introduced in 2005 and received several facelifts over time. In 2008, Yamaha replaced the carburetor system in the YBR 125 with a fuel injection system. In 2010, Yamaha introduced a dual-sport version of the YBR 125 with several off-road improvements. YBR 125 was launched in the Pakistani market in 2015.

The Yamaha YBR 125 comes with a two-valve engine and a DCI ignition system of 12V DC. it comes with both electric starter and kick starter features. The front has a 12V halogen bulb headlamp with a smoked shield. The front brake is a single disc brake while the rear brake is a drum brake.
The YBR 125 has a telescopic, coil spring, oil damper front suspension and a swing arm, coil spring, oil damper rear suspension. The rear suspension is adjustable. The bike also comes with an engine balancer. For the rider’s convenience, there is a prominent dial in the front with information of fuel gauge, gear indicator and trip meter.

Yamaha YBR 125 Ride & Handling
Yamaha YBR 125 2025 is most suitable for urban rides. Its handling is satisfactory and it does not have much grip when it comes to sharp turns at high speeds but in an urban setting, it is best for daily commute.
Its brakes are also quite ordinary and there is nothing outstanding about them. They can be further improved by changing the pads but give a satisfactory performance during the daily commute.

The Honda CB 125F shares similar engine power and torque with the Yamaha YBR 125. The Honda CB 125F has a sportier design and higher resale value compared to Yamaha YBR 125 but the YBR 2025 beats Honda when it comes to suspension, fuel capacity and fuel consumption. The Honda CB 125F is also less expensive than the YBR 125.
Despite the fact that Suzuki GD 110S has less impressive features as compared to the YBR 125, it provides value for money at a lot lesser price of Rs. 194,000. The GD 110S has 4-speed transmission with 9.5:1 compression ratio which is less than that of the YBR.
Suzuki GS 150SE is another strong contestant with a 150 cc engine and higher power and torque. It provides great value for money at Rs. 227,000 which is greater than that of YBR 125. YBR 125 beats GS 150SE when it comes to fuel capacity and fuel consumption.
