Not Staying Behind, Suzuki Increased Bike Prices

Pak Suzuki has also increased its bike prices following its main competitors, Atlas Honda and Yamaha Motors. According to a notification, the costs have been increased up to Rs. 15,000.

New Suzuki Bike Prices

The price of Suzuki GS150 has been increased by Rs. 10,000, and it will now cost Rs. 225,000 against the previous rate of Rs. 215,000.

The price of the third bike, Suzuki GS150SE, has been increased by Rs. 10,000, and now you will have to buy it for Rs. 242,000 compared to its previous price of Rs. 232,000.

Lastly, the company has increased the price of Suzuki GR150 by Rs. 15,000 as its new price is Rs. 330,000 against the last rate of Rs. 315,000.

Previous Price Hike

The company increased the prices on December 1st, 2021, up to Rs. 8,000. There seems to be no stop to these repeated increases in bike prices because the companies are hiking them continuously without giving any concrete reason. If the trends remain the same, the bike will soon become entirely out of reach of the masses. A couple of years ago, the bike was considered a ride of a commoner, but it seems that, like cars, the bike will also become a dream for them.

As per finance ministry data, 94% of the bike parts are produced locally in Pakistan, meaning not many spare parts are imported. So, the international raw material prices and shipment charges should not be applied to bikes; still, the companies are increasing them again and again. Meanwhile, the government is not doing anything to counter it as there is no authority to keep a check on these prices.

We hope that this trend will end soon and people will have a sigh of relief.
