Shocking Price of Yamaha’s “Genuine” Single Nut
No doubt, Pakistan is facing highest ever inflation in its history; still, a one-piece nut should be cheap. In most cases, your mechanic would just exchange the nut for free. Even if he asks you to get one, it mostly costs Rs. 10-20 because it is just a nut, one of the most common components in cars and bikes. But, it seems that Yamaha Pakistan is selling some kind of special nut.
According to a photo circulating on social media, the price of Yamaha’s “genuine” one-piece is just surprising. The photo shows that the price of this specific part is Rs. 160; yes, you read this right, Rs. 160 for one single nut. It is just simply NUTS!!.

If you look at the photo, the nut seems normal; there is nothing fancy on it, no emblem, but there is packaging with a sticker. It seems the company has included the price of the package but still doesn’t justify Rs. 160; again, it is just a nut.
“Free Checkup” by Yamaha
Last month, Yamaha offered a free checkup and oil change in a few locations. In a social media post, the company stated, “Rev up your engine and get ready for an even smoother ride with a free oil change for your Yamaha. Give your Yamaha the proper care it deserves, ensuring maximum performance and longevity.”
But There was a surprise for those who visited the company’s service station thinking that ‘all is free.’ After the checkup, the bike company charged for main services, including engine oil, brake shoes, and filter. Meaning the free part was only a checkup in which the mechanic just told the owner that this work needed to be done, and if they wanted to avail of that service, there was a bill. As they say, nothing is free in this world.
