The Hike Continues, Changan Car Prices Increased

Over a week ago, the government passed the mini-budget and increased FED (Federal Excise Duty) on locally assembled and imported cars. And now, companies are increasing car prices one after the other. After Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, KIA, and DFSK, Changan’s up for its part. Here are the new Changan car prices, have a look!

Changan Alsvin Prices

Under the mini-budget, FED on the three Changan Alsvin variants has increased (from 2.5% to 5%), and so have their prices.

Changan Karvaan Prices

The FED on both Changan Karvaan variants has been increased from 0 to 2.5%. As a result, the prices of Changan’s MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) have gone up.

Changan M9 Price

The 999cc Changan M9 also got a 2.5% FED post-budget but no price changes. The pick-up has the same price tag as before, i.e., Rs. 1,509,000.

The new Changan car prices are in effect from the 22nd of January 2022.

Now that we have the revised prices of Suzuki, Toyota, Honda, KIA, Prince DFSK, and Changan, the price hike series is down to two more car brands, Proton and Hyundai. Let’s see how those episodes turn out.
