Toyota Hiked Prices of its Imported (CBU) Lineup
Indus Motor Company (IMC) has increased Completely Built Units (CBUs) prices. As per the company, the prices of this lineup were increased with the last hike of locally-assembled units. Camry, Prado, Coaster, and Hiace Deluxe’s rates have increased.
New Prices of Toyota CBU Cars
These are the new prices of Toyota CBU cars:
- Camry Hybrid now costs Rs. 53,859,000 compared to Rs. 47,559,000 as it has seen a jump of Rs. 6,300,000.
- The new price of Prado 2.8 MT is Rs. 59,109,000 against Rs. 52,119,000 as its price is increased by Rs. 6,990,000.
- Prado 2.8L AT’s new rate is Rs. 67,249,000 compared to Rs.59,359,000 as the company hiked its rate by Rs. 7,890,000.
- The price of Prado 4.0L has been increased by Rs. 11,150,000, and it will now cost Rs. 95,579,000 compared to previous price of Rs. 84,429,000.
- Finally, the Land Cruiser 3.5L will now cost Rs. 156,829,000 against Rs. 138,319,000, as it observed a jump of Rs. 18,510,000.
- The new price of Toyota Hiace Standard Roof is Rs. 13,069,000 compared to the old rate of Rs. 12,299,000, meaning it saw a jump of Rs. 770,000
- Hiace Deluxe High Roof Commuter has seen an increase of Rs. 880,000, taking the price to Rs. 14,959,000 from Rs. 14,079,000.
- The new rate of Hiace High Roof Tourer is Rs. 17,059,000 against the previous Rs. 16,049,000, as it observed a jump of Rs. 1.010,000.
- Hiace Luxury Wagon High Grade’s price is hiked by Rs. 1,260,000, taking it to Rs. 21,029,000 against the previous price of Rs. 19,769,000.
- Toyota Coaster 29-seater F/L now costs Rs. 26,789,000 compared to the old price of Rs. 25,189,000 as its price is increased by Rs. 1,600,000.
This increase is most probably caused by the devaluation of PKR against the US dollar and issues in imports. Still, Rs. 5 crore Toyota Camry is way to expensive for a common buyer, and it seems that the situation will not be much stable in the coming days which can lead to another price hike.
