Overview
On 8th November 2015, PakWheels organized its first Auto Show in the beautiful city of Peshawar. The event took place at the Islamia College Peshawar Cricket Ground. Deputy Commissioner Peshawar and district’s administration played an integral part in bringing the Auto Show to Peshawar. We had all sorts of automobiles present at the show; from bikes to 4x4s to tuned imports to American muscle. Around 300 cars took part in the event from all over the country.
It wouldn’t be wrong if we say that Peshawar and its auto markets have been some of the most famous in all of the Pakistan. Peshawar’s auto market is renowned around the country for its wide range, and you will find all sorts of gems that you wouldn’t be able to find in markets of other regions otherwise. People of Peshawar were modifying their Toyotas, Hondas, and Daihatsu cars long before people from other cities got into the game.
For the first time in PakWheels Auto Shows, we arranged a musical performance for the attendants of the auto show. Besides the musical program, kiosks selling auto products were also be installed at the venue for visitors to shop for different products for their cars, including detailing products and garnishing items. For kids, there was a photo booth for them to take photos with props and capture the moments in photographs. The visitors were able to enjoy food, snacks and drinks at the auto show as well.
The Auto Show was a great opportunity for all the auto enthusiasts to show off their rides, and for others to see them. The event had all sorts of activities and attractions for people from various walks of life. It wasn’t planned just to be an ordinary car show, but a fun-filled day for the whole family. Commissioner Peshawar Fakhr E Alam and CCPO Mubarak Zeb also came to see the event and appreciated the efforts of PakWheels and district administration. And we hope to bring our show to Peshawar in 2016 as well.
This was the 4th PakWheels Auto Show in Islamabad, enjoyed by serious petrol heads and casual auto lovers alike.
