These Companies Have Increased Car Prices So Far!

Since the start of March, the car prices have seen an upward trajectory once again. First it was Kia Lucky, then Toyota Pakistan, followed by Hyundai Nishat and finally it was Honda Atlas. The companies cited devaluation of Pakistani rupee, increase in freight rate, and expensive raw material prices the main reasons behind these hikes.

In this article, we are combining all the price hikes happened since the start of this month.

Kia Car Prices Increased

The new prices were effected from March 1, 2022. It is pertinent to mention that was the second price hike in last two months by the company.

As per the notification, these were the revised Kia car prices.

Kia Picanto

The new price of Kia Picanto Manual is Rs. 2,400,000 against the previous rate of Rs. 2,186,000, meaning the it saw an increase of Rs. 214,000. Meanwhile, the new price of Picanto Automatic is Rs. 2,500,000 against Rs. 2,292,000 as it observed an increase of Rs. 208,000.

Kia Sportage

Kia Sportage Alpha saw an increase of Rs. 236,000, taking the price to Rs. 5,000,000 compared to previous Rs. 4,764,000. Meanwhile, Sportage FWD‘s price has been increased by Rs. 224,000 as it will now cost Rs. 5,500,000 against Rs. 5,276,000. Last but not least, Kia Sportage AWD will not cost Rs. 6,000,000 compared to last rate of Rs. 5,788,000 as company hiked its price by Rs. 212,000.

Kia Stonic

The revised price of Kia Stonic EX is Rs. 4,150,000 after Rs, 400,000 hike. The previous rate of this small crossover was Rs. 3,750,000. And Kia Stonic EX+ has seen an increase of Rs. 475,000 taking the rate to Rs, 4,450,000 from Rs. 3,975,000.

Toyota Increased Car Prices

The news of increase in Toyota car prices was circulating for couple of days and on March 25th, it happened. According to a new notification, the company increased the prices up to Rs. 1,257,000.

Here are the new prices of all locally assembled Toyota cars.

Toyota Yaris New Price

The sedan comes in six variants and here are the oil and new prices of the car.

• The first variant is Yaris GLI MT 1.3 and its current price is Rs. 2,612,000, after a jump of Rs. 287,000, the new rate is Rs. 2,899,000.
• Then comes Yaris ATIV MT 1.3, which saw a hike of Rs. 314,000 taking the price to Rs. 3,059,000, compared to previous Rs. 2,745,000.
• The third one is Yaris GLI CVT 1.3 and after the latest increase of Rs. 292,000 the new rate of the car is Rs. 3,109,000 against the last rate of Rs. 2,817,000.
• The fourth variant is Yaris ATIV CVT 1.3, which used to cost Rs. 2,919,000, and after the increase of Rs. 310,000 its new price is Rs. 3,229,000.
• The second last one is Yaris ATIV X MT 1.5 and its new price is Rs. 3,289,000 after an increase of Rs. 3,19,000. This variant’s last price was Rs. 2,970,000.
• Last but not least, it is Yaris ATIV X CVT 1.5 and after seeing an increase of Rs. 324,000 its new price is Rs. 3,499,000 compared to old rate of Rs.  3,175,000.

Toyota Corolla New Prices 

Now let us discuss the old and new prices of Toyota Corolla, which comes in six variants.

• The first variant is Corolla Altis X Manual 1.6 and its previous price was Rs. 3,380,000 and after an increase of Rs. 369,000 it will now cost Rs. 3,749,000.
• Then comes Corolla Altis X Automatic 1.6, which has seen a hike of Rs. 395,000 and now it will cost Rs. 3,929,000 compared to Rs. 3,534,000, previously.
• Third one is Corolla Altis X Automatic 1.6 Special Edition (SE), which used to cost Rs. 3,892,000, and after a jump of Rs. 417,000 its new price is Rs. 4,309,000.
• Then comes Corolla Altis X CVT-i 1.8, which saw an increase of Rs. 427,000, taking the rate to Rs. 4,299,000, against previous Rs. 3,872,000
• Next one is Corolla Altis Grande X CVT-i 1.8 (Beige Interior), which saw a jump of Rs. 470,000, taking the price to Rs. 4,649,000. compared to old rate of Rs. 4,179,000.
• Finally, it is Corolla Altis Grande X CVT-i 1.8 (Black Interior) which used to cost Rs. 4,199,000, but after an increase of Rs. 490,000, its new price is Rs. 4,689,000.

Toyota Fortuner New Prices 

Now comes the SUV by Toyota Pakistan, which has four variants in Pakistan. And here are the new and old prices of these variants.

• The first variant is Fortuner 2.7 G and previously it costRs.  8,569,000, however, after an increase of Rs 930,000, it will now cost Rs. 9,499,000.
• Second one is Fortuner 2.7 V and after a jump of Rs. 1,008,000 its new price is Rs. 10,949,000 compared to Rs. 9,941,000.
• On third, it is Fortuner 2.8 Sigma 4, which saw an increase of Rs. 1,097,000, taking the price to Rs. 11,489,000, against previous Rs. 10,392,000.
• At fourth comes Fortuner Legender, which used to cost Rs. 10,842,000 and after the hike of Rs. 1,257,000 its new rate is Rs. 12,099,000.

Toyota Hilux Revo 

Now comes the famous Hilux Revo and its old and new prices of its variants. And here they are:

• The first one is Hilux E, and its previous price was Rs. 6,395,000 and after an increase of Rs. 664,000, it will now cost Rs. 7,059,000.
• Then comes Hilux Revo G Manual 2.8, and company increased its price by Rs. 712,000, taking it to Rs. 7,659,000, against the previous rate of Rs. 6,947,000.
• The third one is Hilux Revo G Automatic 2.8, which saw an increase of Rs. 723,000, meaning its new rate is Rs. 8,029,000, against Rs. 7,306,000.
• The previous price of fourth variant Hilux Revo V Automatic 2.8 was Rs. 8,032,000, but now it will cost Rs. 8,839,000 as its price has been increased by Rs. 807,000.
• The final one is Hilux Revo Rocco, which used to cost Rs. 8,472,000 and after seeing a hike of Rs. 847,000, its new price is Rs. 9,319,000.

Hyundai Tucson Prices Hiked 

Hyundai Nishat only increased the prices of its crossover SUV, Hyundai Tucson. According to a notification by the company, the new prices were applicable on all orders with booking date of March 25th, 2022 and onwards.

The new prices of Hyundai Tucson are:

• Hyundai Tucson GLS Sport (FWD) will now cost Rs. 5,799,000 compared to previous rate of Rs. 5,549,000, meaning it saw an increase of Rs. 250,000.
• Meanwhile, Hyundai Tucson Ultimate (AWD) has seen a jump of Rs. 300,000, and its new price is Rs. 6,299,000 against last rate of Rs. 5,999,000.

Honda Car Prices Increased

And then, Honda took its turn to increase its car prices. The company hiked the prices of its three locally assembled models, Honda Civic, Honda City, and Honda BR-V.

Honda Civic Prices

Honda launched the all-new 11th generation Civic just a while back. The new Civic was already an overpriced car. And now the prices of three Civic variants have gone even higher.

• Honda Civic Standard has seen a jump of Rs. 300,000 taking the price to Rs. 5,399,000 against previous rate of Rs. 5,099,000.
• Honda Civic Oriel will now cost Rs. 5,649,000 compared to old rate of Rs. 5,399,000, meaning its price increased by Rs. 350,000.
• Honda Civic RS has observed an increase of Rs. 400,000, taking the rate to Rs. 6,499,000 against previous price of Rs. 6,149,000.

Honda City Prices

Last time, Honda kept the two 1.2L City variants out of the price hike. But this time around, the company has increased the prices of all five City variants.

• The price of Honda City 1.2L Manual has seen the highest jump of Rs. 400,000, taking the car’s price to Rs. 3,129,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,729,000.
• The price of Honda City 1.2L CVT has gone up by Rs. 300,000, taking the car’s price to Rs. 3,249,000 from the old rate of Rs. 2,949,000.
• The new price of Honda City 1.5L CVT is Rs. 3,446,000 compared to previous rate of Rs. 3,146,000, meaning it saw an increase of Rs. 300,000.
• Honda City 1.5L Aspire Manual has seen an increase of Rs. 300,000. It will now cost Rs. 3,579,000 against Rs. 3,279,000.
• Honda City 1.5L Aspire CVT has observed an increase of Rs. 295,000 and its new price is Rs. 3,749,000 compared to old price of Rs. 3,369,000.

Honda BR-V Prices

With two sedans, Honda crossover is also a part of the price hike. With the second highest price jump of Rs. 390,000, Honda BR-V CVT S will now cost Rs. 4,079,000 against last price of Rs. 3,689,000.
