These Companies Have Increased Car Prices So Far!

Since the start of March, the car prices have seen an upward trajectory once again. First it was Kia Lucky, then Toyota Pakistan, followed by Hyundai Nishat and finally it was Honda Atlas. The companies cited devaluation of Pakistani rupee, increase in freight rate, and expensive raw material prices the main reasons behind these hikes.

In this article, we are combining all the price hikes happened since the start of this month.

Kia Car Prices Increased

The new prices were effected from March 1, 2022. It is pertinent to mention that was the second price hike in last two months by the company.

As per the notification, these were the revised Kia car prices.

Kia Picanto

The new price of Kia Picanto Manual is Rs. 2,400,000 against the previous rate of Rs. 2,186,000, meaning the it saw an increase of Rs. 214,000. Meanwhile, the new price of Picanto Automatic is Rs. 2,500,000 against Rs. 2,292,000 as it observed an increase of Rs. 208,000.

Kia Sportage

Kia Sportage Alpha saw an increase of Rs. 236,000, taking the price to Rs. 5,000,000 compared to previous Rs. 4,764,000. Meanwhile, Sportage FWD‘s price has been increased by Rs. 224,000 as it will now cost Rs. 5,500,000 against Rs. 5,276,000. Last but not least, Kia Sportage AWD will not cost Rs. 6,000,000 compared to last rate of Rs. 5,788,000 as company hiked its price by Rs. 212,000.

Kia Stonic

The revised price of Kia Stonic EX is Rs. 4,150,000 after Rs, 400,000 hike. The previous rate of this small crossover was Rs. 3,750,000. And Kia Stonic EX+ has seen an increase of Rs. 475,000 taking the rate to Rs, 4,450,000 from Rs. 3,975,000.

Toyota Increased Car Prices

The news of increase in Toyota car prices was circulating for couple of days and on March 25th, it happened. According to a new notification, the company increased the prices up to Rs. 1,257,000.

The sedan comes in six variants and here are the oil and new prices of the car.

Toyota Corolla New Prices 

Now let us discuss the old and new prices of Toyota Corolla, which comes in six variants.

Toyota Fortuner New Prices 

Now comes the SUV by Toyota Pakistan, which has four variants in Pakistan. And here are the new and old prices of these variants.

Toyota Hilux Revo 

Now comes the famous Hilux Revo and its old and new prices of its variants. And here they are:

Hyundai Tucson Prices Hiked 

Hyundai Nishat only increased the prices of its crossover SUV, Hyundai Tucson. According to a notification by the company, the new prices were applicable on all orders with booking date of March 25th, 2022 and onwards.

Honda Car Prices Increased

And then, Honda took its turn to increase its car prices. The company hiked the prices of its three locally assembled models, Honda CivicHonda City, and Honda BR-V.

Honda Civic Prices

Honda launched the all-new 11th generation Civic just a while back. The new Civic was already an overpriced car. And now the prices of three Civic variants have gone even higher.

Honda City Prices

Last time, Honda kept the two 1.2L City variants out of the price hike. But this time around, the company has increased the prices of all five City variants.

Honda BR-V Prices

With two sedans, Honda crossover is also a part of the price hike. With the second highest price jump of Rs. 390,000, Honda BR-V CVT S will now cost Rs. 4,079,000 against last price of Rs. 3,689,000.
