BREAKING – Hyundai Sonata to be Launched on THIS Date

Earlier this month, Hyundai Nishat Motors unveiled the much-awaited Hyundai Sonata in a private event. The leaked pictures and information revealed that the company would launch it in two variants, i.e., 2000cc and 2500cc. Now, our sources have shared the information about this car’s official launch. As per the sources, the D-Segment Premium car will be officially launched on July 5, 2021. It means the launch is only a week away. 

Hyundai is bringing Sonata against Honda Accord and Toyota Camry, and as per reports, this new entrant will be way more cheaper than its competitors. The reports suggested that the price of the new Sonata will range from Rs8million to Rs8.5million. If Hyundai launched this premium car in this price range, it would be a great seller. We have told you that Hyundai has imported 456 CKD kits of Sonata in Pakistan, which is a good number, indeed.

Engine and Transmission: 

As mentioned earlier, Sonata comes in two engine options, 2000cc and 2500cc. The 2000cc engine of Sonata produces 152hp and 180Nm of torque, while 2500cc generates 180hp and 232Nm torque. Hyundai offers a 6-Speed Automatic in its cars, along with four Drive Modes, Smart/Sport/Eco/Custom and Comfort.

Exterior: 

The first noticeable feature is the Panoramic Sunroof, which is available in both Sonatas. The cars have Tetra LED Projection Headlamps, Gradient Hidden Light Technology DRLs, and Horizontal LED Rear Combination Tail Lights. They also have Rear Fog Lamps,  Rain Sensing Wipers and 18-inch Alloy Wheels. 

Interior: 

Both cars have Leather Seats and 8-Way Power Driver Seat, 4-Way Power Passenger Seat, and Lumbar Support for Driver Seat. Meanwhile, only 2500cc Sonata comes with Power Rear Sunshade. The Cluster Display is 12.3-inch High-Resolution TFT LCD, and size of the Infotainment Display is 8 inches. 

Coming to AC, these cars offer Dual Zone Climate Control with Rear AC vents. They also provide the feature of Wireless Charger. Lastly, 2500cc Sonata offers a Head-Up Display (HUD).

Safety: 

Hyundai Sonata 2500cc offer 6 Airbags, while the 2000cc Sonata comes with only 2 Airbags. Both vehicles offer Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill-Start Assist Control (HAC), Traction Control System (TCS), Parking Sensors, Cruise Control and Dynamic Guideline Rear Camera.
