Fuel Average of Alsvin, Yaris, Saga, Elantra & Others

After a fun compilation of 0-100 speed tests of popular new cars, we have the fuel average edition from our Expert Reviews of these cars.

Again, the cars belong to different segments with different engine sizes, transmissions, and prices. We are just giving you an idea of how fuel-efficient each one is.

Changan Alsvin

Changan Alsvin is the most fuel-efficient sedan in Pakistan, and it’s one of the reasons why it’s our favourite. Alsvin 1.5L Lumiere gives you a fuel average of 13 to 14 kilometers per litre in the city and up to 17 kilometers per litre on the highway.

Toyota Yaris

The top-of-the-line Toyota Yaris 1.5L CVT ATIV X variant has a fuel average of 11 to 12.5 kilometers per litre in the city and 14 to 15 km/L on the highway.

Honda Civic RS Turbo

Honda Civic 1.5L RS Turbo goes 10 to 12 km/L in the city and up to 13 km/L on the highway.

Hyundai Elantra

Hyundai Elantra is a 2000cc sedan that gives you a fuel average of 10 to 11 km/L in the city and 16 to 17 km/L on a long route.

Hyundai Sonata

Hyundai’s other sedan, Hyundai Sonata, is more premium than Elantra. Its 2.5L variant has the same fuel average of 10 to 11 km/L in the city and 15 to 17 km/L on the highway.

Proton Saga

Proton Saga is known for its poor fuel average, and we noticed the same thing in our review. Saga 1.3L A/T Ace variant has a fuel average of under 10 km/L in the city, which goes up to 13 km/L on the highway.

Toyota Corolla Cross

Coming to some of the popular SUVs, Toyota’s newly launched hybrid SUV, the Toyota Corolla Cross, has an impressive mileage of 18 to 21 km/L in the city and 22 to 25 km/L on the highway.

KIA Sorento

Next, we have KIA’s 7-seater SUV, KIA Sorento. Its 2.4L FWD variant has a fuel average of 8 to 10 km/L in the city.

DFSK Glory 580 Pro

Another 7-seater SUV we have on the list is the DFSK Glory 580 Pro, with a fuel average figure of 8 km/L in the city and up to 10 km/L on the highway.

MG HS

We also reviewed MG’s premium SUV, the MG HS, and found its fuel average to be around 7 km/L in the city, which goes up to 9 to 10 km/L on the highway.

BAIC BJ40 Plus

We have also added the newly launched jeep BAIC BJ40 Plus to the fuel average compilation. Although that’s the last thing you’d ask about an off-roading jeep, still we have the number, so why not? BJ40 Plus has a mileage of 6 km/L in the city.
