MG Is Testing 5 New Cars In Pakistan 🤓

We are all familiar with Javed Afridi and his teasers of MG cars. Usually, it’s all just fun and games that the MG representative likes to play. Everyone gets hyped about the launch of another MG car, and then nothing comes out of it. That being said, MG Pakistan has done something solid. The company has imported CBU units of five MG cars for trials and testing.

We have seen teasers of MG5, MG6, and MG RX8 on Afridi’s Twitter. The other two, MG E-HS and MG Marvel, are new. Both are electric vehicles. MG E-HS is an electric crossover, and MG Marvel is an electric SUV. We are curious to see how the testing of these MG vehicles goes and which ones will actually make it to the Pakistani market.

Here’s a look at the international models of these five MG cars.

MG Cars in Pakistan

Internationally, MG has a diverse portfolio of cars. The brand covers every car segment from hatchback to sedan, SUV, and EV. MG officially became a part of the Pakistani auto industry late last year. Since then, three MG cars have been launched in the local market, MG HS, MG ZS, and MG ZS EV. Till now, MG has been selling imported CBU units of these three vehicles. However, the MG assembly plant in Pakistan was recently completed, so we’ll see CKD MG cars soon.

Pakistanis have been waiting for a budget MG car since the brand’s debut. But all three MG cars are premium SUVs that a common middle-class person cannot afford. Back in February, Afridi posted a teaser of the MG3 hatchback and suggested a price tag of less than 2 million rupees. For a moment, everybody thought it was really happening, but there’s still no sign. It’s not even among this batch of imported MG test mules.
