KIA Car Deliveries Are Late, Here’s Why
After Suzuki, MG, Prince DFSK, and Changan Pakistan, KIA Lucky Motors is also facing late car deliveries. Just like everybody else, the company has addressed the issue on social media. Last night, the company posted a statement to let the customers know what got in the way of the delivery of their booked KIA cars. It’s the same old deal about the COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on the global supply chain operations.
The caption read, “We believe in transparency, and we understand that the wait has been excruciating. We apologise for the inconvenience this must have caused you.”
Aftermaths of Global Pandemic
The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has hit various industries around the globe. The auto industry is one of the brutally affected industries. Global semiconductor chip crisis, shortage of tyres, hikes in the cost of containers and auto parts, and similar troubles have crippled the auto industry. Many international companies, including Tesla, Toyota, Volkswagen, General Motors, Honda, and Ford, have halted and cut down their production lines. Pakistani car manufacturers are facing the same fate.
Auto manufacturing companies in Pakistan are taking the responsible step of keeping their customers in the loop about the late deliveries of cars. They appreciate the customers for their patience and are doing the best they can to beat these challenges. They need the customers’ support to come out stronger and resilient.
We hope that things get better for the automotive industry and the local auto manufacturers. The production lines are restored, and cars are delivered on time. The companies can produce more cars and take more bookings. More consumers get to experience the thrill of driving new cars, and everybody wins!
