Honda Life is one of the Kei-cars built by Honda in accordance to Japanese insurance and tax regulations. After the WW2, this type of cars was specially made in Japan to popularize the use of motor vehicles afterwards, due to shrinking space in Japan, Kei-cars became very popular as they don’t need Japanese authority approvals that they have a space big enough to park.
Although Japanese government have regulated such vehicles for but in 1998, the last revision to these regulations were made with revised sizes, engine capacity and the power they produce.
However, Kei-car genre is too specialized and too small to be profitable in export markets but a dearth of these Kei-cars have been imported in Pakistan and due to poor road and urban infrastructure, they have been quite popular.
They also are quite cheap since engine cc is very small, and fuel economical while the size of the vehicle help urban driving become easy.
