The 2nd Generation Toyota Avanza was introduced in 2011. The mini MPV is sold in various countries around the world under either the Toyota, Daihatsu or Perodua brands. The 7-Seater mini MPV features larger exterior dimensions and improved fuel economy compared to the 1st Generation Toyota Avanza.
The 2011 Toyota Avanza features a unique design language for a compact MPV. The front end features angular upswept headlights; a curved chrome trapezium styled grille, a large bumper with a trapezium shaped air intake and standard fog lights. The sides of the car feature large flared wheel arches and subtle curves. The rear end features upswept stacked taillights, a standard tailgate with a roof spoiler and a large rear bumper. The overall styling of the 2nd Generation Toyota Avanza in distinctive and features subtle, elegant styling cues throughout the bodywork.
The interior of the 2011 Toyota Avanza features a 7-seater layout arranged among 3 rows of seats. It compromises of light gray and silver plastic trim pieces. The 3 rows of seats are covered in fabric. Standard equipment includes dual front airbags, air conditioning, cup holders, power lock doors, power steering, a stereo speaker system with iPod, USB, CD and AUX input and a tachometer.
