Nomi, it was great fun, The plan was to get to the area identified on google earth, where there were plenty offroading oppurtunities, but the first place we tried to cross Harro river which looked easy but we found out that it was much deeper and soaked NPP completely, and after that no one wanted to try crossing from there. Orange, surprisingly, was in no mood of killing his newly acquired Vigo. The rest said, lets find a easier place to go across, but than NPP spluttered and shut down, took 20+ minutes to get going again. Than we lost our way trying to find the track. Than at another crossing point Imtiaz got stuck, had to be towed out with tandem pulling. That was where BilalZ showed his DJI phantom flying skill................errrr not................ by banging into trees, and than crash bang landing, luckily, it survived! Than we evetually got to the place where there were plenty oppertunities for proper-offroading, we did a couple of tracks and than the Jero's ATF issue happened, and so we wanted to tow it to somewhere to get it sorted as well.
Anyway, it was almost 1pm by than, and everyone was saying Biryani, biryani, biryani, so we we found a nice shade of M1 motoway over Harro river, and after lunch, Yasir nadeem bhai and Sam were sorting the Jero + had to go n get 5-6 litre ATF, as all had leaked out. Than one by one people started dipping and swimming n river. Orange refused to get in water, but Imtiaz, Sam and another friend took no notice, picked him up threw him in water. It was great fun. Just imagine a hearty lunch, cool breeze, than cool dip in beautiful flowing water and afterwards lying on the rocks on the side in the beautiful afternoon sun. I am dozing almost thinking about it!
We had though initially of maybe going back for more offroading, but everyone was too lazy n chilled by than, so we headed back via GT road, stopping over for a nice hot tea break! (H)
