@all brothers...
The picture above only proves the High Landing Skills of Pak Pilots.
We are only ASSUMING, falsely that Pilot FORGOT to deploy the landing gears.
Its most likely that PILOT KNEW the Landing Gears were not responding, and he applied the approach of a Belly landing, which is quiet different that a normal landing. It is extremely dangerous to land, specially if the head-winds are strong in this situation. But the Sky looks clears, and perhaps there was low wind factor, otherwise, without the Tire traction while landing, the airplane can easily spin around, and do a CARTWHEEL, which throws the airplane around violently, rolling it several times and the plane destroyed into bits and pieaces.
Allah kept them all in their mercy, and PILOTS must have the nerve of STEEL to land such a huge plane with most of its load on board with the FAULTY landing gears. NO ONE DOES IT for fun of it, this was a big test for the Pilots of PIA (the landing gear malfunctioning at the last moment) and they succeeded with Flying colors while performing this emergency Belly landing.
As far as making the plane fly again. That another ACHIEVEMENT for the PIA maintenance Staff. They are not Amateurs, they know how to Overhaul and restore the plane structure. It must have involved alot of Sheet-metal riveting, but they done a superb job, to make the plane fly again. That Plane never crashed, now did it, and I don't think PIA has a lousy air safety history. Only due to Weather, related issues mainly with FOKKERS, I have only heard of Two Fokkers that were lost in last 10 years. May Allah keep our Airline Safe. Ameen.
Don't wish and pray for worst for your own MOTHERLAND's sole flag carrier. If you put yourself in their shoes, then you'd know how hard it is to run an Airliners, its not kids job. Making comments is easy, but doing the job right, specially in Airline business, which involved movement of Millions of passengers a year, its definately not a kids play.
When My Dad was Station Manager for PIA in New York, he was on the inspection tour onboard the 747. A German Mechanic from Lufthansa, was working on that PIA airplane and he used the F Word to describe the Radio system on board the PIA was was malfunctioning. My dad heard that, and Told GERMAN Mechanic to GET THE HELL OUT OF OUR COUNTRY's Airplane which carries
our FLAG. How Dare you Cursed our airplane. Later that day, that German Mechanic's Manager came to my Dad and appologized to my dad for the ill bahavior of that Geman Mechanic. We all know German's are a tough and nationalistic race, THEY Don't appologize to anyone for any of their actions. But in this case, My Dad made a point and that German's Boss came with the SORRY face to my dad, for his mechanic Cursing a Radio equipment on Board PIA.
