Dear PW,

I want to go Kel Arang Kel and sharda at the end of May 14. i want to know road and security conditions plus at which point I can travel on my suzuki alto? from which i should take jeep if i want to visit kel and Arang kel or even Taobutt?

No security issue at all..Just keep your original NIC with you...Road condition till Keran is good...So better to park your car there and hire a jeep for further travelling....

Thanx Bro. Do u have any idea of the cost to hire a jeep to move further? I dont see this area before and even dont know where is keran?

Please go through the above link about Neelum Valley..It may be helpful..About the cost of the jeep I would advise you to Hire the jeep on per day basis with your own diesel..The rate should be around 1500/2000 per day without diesel

Bro last year in mid of May we visited Neelam valley.

Parked our car at Keran and hired a jeep @ 2200 per day (Without Fuel) after an hour of bargaining.

We traveled further on that jeep for 3-4 days to Sharda, Kel, Taobat, Shounter and then Back to Keran. And I think fuel consumed was around 8K to 9K.
