I'm going to Mirpur AJK from Faisalabad after Eid. Which route would be best for me?
Faisalabad, ->Chakjhumra,->Pindi Bhatian, (sargodha mandi bhaudin road)- Kot Momin, >Phulwaaran, -> Head faqeraan, Gojra, khutiala shaikahan, & all the way up sara alamgir, jehlum, dina, mangla mirpur - approx 300 km or so
I'm planning to go via FSD-Shaikhupura GT Road then use motorway from Kot Abdul Malik to Kala Shah Kaku then again on GT Road till Dina. I guess, the route which you have suggest is not reliable i mean road is not upto the mark.
Btw i can also use M3 and M2 till Kot Momin Interchage. But don't know how is the road from Kot Momin to Jehlum.
road is dual carriage without divider but marker lines are painted, safe enough for sedans to maintain average speed of 80+ km/hr. However use seat belts and do check upon spare wheel & all 4 tyres before heading for highway. drive safe stay safe drive slow enjoy the nature around it will be 3~ 4 hour journey so start after lunch to arrive in Mirpur by sunset. All the way sun will soft and heading west while visible in your rear view mirror
This is the best route. Good Luck.
GT road will be densely crowded during your period of journey
Leave early morning- 2 hours before Sunrise.Use GT road.
Crowded road is ok for me. But i don't know the route which you suggested me.
Faisalabad > Lahore (GT Road ) or FSD>Sheikhupura>Motorway to Lahore ( So you escape the crap traffic via them bridges ).Then straight to Mirpur via GT road. This route.http://goo.gl/MZ2uug
I have decided to use GT Road from FSD to Kot Abdul Malik and from here i use motorway till Kala Shah Kaku and then again GT Road
FSD > Kot Abdul Malik > Kala Shah Kaku > Dina > Mirpur
Why enter Motorway at Kot Abdul Malik? You know that there is kinda loads of traffic near that place?Easiest is and the one I usually prefer- FSD to Sheikhupura via GT road. I go straight at the first roundabout ( The one before the Jungle ) and I enter Motorway.
Then I take the first Lahore exit and enter GT road towards Islamabad.
Much easier, not sure if you checked the Route, here it is again. http://goo.gl/AzDWs2
Bro, i know that place very well. If i entre motorway from Shaikhupura don't you think i have to go to the city first? Rest you have told the same route which i had told you. I just want to use motorway from Kot Abdul Malik instead of Shaikhupura. Rest all the route is same.
And this is what i'm sayinghttps://www.google.no/maps/dir/Faisalabad,+Pakistan/Mirpur/@31.6965531,74.1070744,10z/data=!4m19!4m18!1m10!1m1!1s0x392242a895a55ca9:0xdec58f88932671c6!2m2!1d73.0791073!2d31.4187142!3m4!1m2!1d74.0138437!2d31.7004427!3s0x3918e81e02feb3a5:0xfe438d9d2d341b5f!1m5!1m1!1s0x391feb8b4d030e19:0x4ec2b8053d7b1051!2m2!1d73.7536695!2d33.1479849!3e0?hl=en
Okay, up to you.
Btw- It's 8.9 KM to Motorway via Sheikhupura and 20+km the route you're taking.
Enjoy and stay safe
I'll entre motorway from Sheikhupura. BTW the road which leads to Gujranwala from Sheikhupura is single way or two way?
In all honesty, I believe that the road from Sheikhupura> Gujranwala is One-Way.It's 55.8 km from Sheikhupura via the 1way road and 88 KM if you travel to Lahore via Motorway and take the double lane road.
My plan is to use Motorway from Sheikhupura to Kala Shah Kaku then N5 from there.
Perfect. Enjoy ye trip
