Questions from @Hammadhhj
Hi!!
1. Do we have to replace spark plugs? the guy at Toyota 3S told me that we dont have to replace them If they are of that "very" kind... cant remember the name....
2. CVT oil must be replaced as its 39000 KM done.
3. I went to Swat on it and it gave me two noises, first it was from wheels , i thought its something with bearing but I checked it from Toyota they said its ok
second weird sound was from Engine when I was going UPHILL on "S" gear, with Accelerator it was givin me sound like of some grrr grrr of bearing kinda thing I shifted it on N and it still gave me the same noise, I checked it from toyota they said its OK. It might be something with engine external bearings or generator pulley as I drove like above 6 hours.
Its giving me 15-16KM/L on long and in city 11 KM/L both with AC.
Suggest me about the tuneup and other maintenance checks please. i ll prefer Toyota 3S.
Thanks
Br,
Hammad
- Of course, spark plugs require replacement. First check your current spark plugs, if they are burnt or worn out replace them ASAP.
As you've mentioned your Belta is a G selection it has the 2SZ-FE engine, the OEM spark plugs for it would be K16R-U11, IK16's will do fine too.
What is the year of import of your Belta? Do you have the authentic auction sheet with you? Can't say anything without any proof. 85% of the vehicles in the current market have flipped odometers. Anyways, Toyota recommends to replace CVT fluid at 60-70,000Kms depending upon the driving enviroment.
Was it knocking? It should not make any kind of weird/abnormal noises. Was the noise like metal touching against metal or something else?
Go through the thread for regular check-up and maintenance.
