@ Automotorsport_Lover Bro iski milage ka to bohat suna tha ke kafi achi hai lekin mera experience is ke sath boht bura raha hai just 32 Km in 1 Liter, yahan thread me bhi sab dost yahi kehtay hain running ke baad theek ho jayegi but i don't think so b'coz 500 + ho gayi hai still it has the same bad average :(:(:(

@ babaisboss YB 100 Royale ki to kya baat hai, no doubt wo 100 Cc bikes mein bohat achi hai, but unfortunately Pakistan mein Yamaha ke kisi bhi brand ki itni high re-sale value nahi hai... CD70 no doubt 70 Cc bikes class mein sabse best bike hai, re-sale value bhi sabse high, very good in shape, milage and performance as well ....

@ RX115 Thnx for wishing bro, as far as alteration in tyres is concrened i like to ride the bike in it's factory shape....even though after years my bike looks like new as it is right now, i will post it's pics after some months and you will not believe me that it's the same bike .... :)

I hope it show a good average after 1500 or 2000 Km's, Today It's meter reading is 500 + & I drive it on it's maximum speed to check it out, It goes to 112-115 KM/h & I'm very glad to see this, a friend of mine claims that ........... perhaps bike's petroleum supply is very much sufficient to it's Carb or something like that, Maybe that's why it goes to 110+, otherwise normal economical bikes don't go to this kinda higher speed

dear u are wrong this time,i give u an example when YAMAHA RX115 was in showrooms in 1982 the price was 15500/RS
now a days if u wanna purchase this bike even in poor condition than u will have to keep arrounD 25000/RS in your pocket.and if u gonna buy YAMAHA RX115 in original condition then u will have to pay arround 50k.thanks

because at that time we (riders) cudnt hold the power of this machine.it was new to us.specially the disk brake was the big herdel,we didnt kenw how to handle this brake and the result used to be terrible.
the user of this machine was only young generation or ager kisi uncle ne ye bike khareedi bhi thi to un k pas ya to khadi rahi ya phir un logon ne sale out kerdi and bad roumors bhi un hi logon ne phelay hoay thay

@pkb yes this is also the main reason a lot.
one thing more ,our currency is going decrease day by day......now a days YAMAHA RXZ135 6speed(2010)model cost in 8000/RM.....(malaysian ringit and one malaysian ringit is equal to 24.5/pkr so if we multiply it=196000/pkr....so what do u think can we go for it.....sure not.....is liaye bhai china to kya gujranwala or gujrat made bike hi chup ker k chalatay rahain to bhalai hay.
thats why we intend to own these oldies and by the grace of ALLAH i have two of theseRX AND GTO......

Salam.... firstly congratulations with your purchase...

secondly... the jamming that you have mentioned is directly effecting your rides average....

Do the following now or on your next tune.
Ask the mechanic to take out the front wheel and then apply grease or oil to the speedometer pulleys inside the hubs and also to the axle that is fitted in the center to make sure that it does not jam the wheels in its rotation. Also ask him to apply sand papers on both the drums and the brake shoes.
Also ask him to further decrease the front brake by rotating the adjustment screws till the wheels are free enough.

Now some people have habbit of riding the bic while their foot is pressing the rear brake pedal which actually on occasions also turns on the brake lights. This is fine if you are riding CD70 BUT if you are riding other brands like that of YAMAHA and SUZUKI then it applies the brakes to the wheels without you knowing about it. Check that this is not your case.

You can check it by touching the drums after a short or long run to see if they are unusually more hotter as compared to one another. Since front brakes are less used so the front drum should be less hot than the back drum.

Waslam bro, thanks for congratulating....Bro this bike is now 720 KM's old .... When i changed it's engine oil at 500 KM's then i made this bike tested by a YAMAHA STAR SHOP mechanic, after doing all the frequent checkups like you mentioned he claimed that there is problem in the CUP..... So he fixed it up again in such a location that it seems to be a bit far away from the axle and he tightened the FRONT AXLE, i asked him if there is any problem driving like this while going on 100 KM+ he said drive it on 150 it won't create any problem....... So i'm riding this in the same condition.....
Still in the jamming condition it gave me average of 46 KM/Liter. I made the oil tank full with 10.86 liters and it stopped on 510 at the meter reading, all this distance is in the city level..... Now i want to sale this bike................
